The chapters of the collective volume are based on original empirical research that explores the interactions between gender, migration, and intercultural relations in six thematic areas: intercultural education, neighborhood development and urban movements, the formation of national identity through cinema, violence against women and the illegal trafficking and trade of people, religious practices as well as mixed marriages and transnational families.
