The Axagon EEM2-SG2 enclosure connects via USB-C and supports M.2 NVMe and SATA drives for use as external storage. The USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface supports transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s. It is compatible with single- or double-sided M.2 drives measuring 42, 60 or 80 mm, with an M or B+M key.

The aluminium body, cooling vents and thermally conductive pad help keep the drive cool. The enclosure opens without screws, making it easy to install and remove the SSD. It supports UASP, TRIM and S.M.A.R.T. information reading, as well as standby mode after 5 minutes of inactivity.
