The Axagon EE25-SL enclosure houses a 2.5″ SATA III hard drive or SSD and connects to a computer via USB 3.2 Gen 1, with transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbit/s. The 6 Gb/s SATA interface supports UASP and BOT, while the enclosure also supports TRIM and S.M.A.R.T. information readout.

The screwless plastic enclosure makes it easy to replace the drive. Its textured surface is scratch-resistant and does not easily retain fingerprints, while the inner foam padding secures and protects the drive. The enclosure and connected drive support sleep mode, the drive automatically stops after 10 minutes of inactivity, and it powers down when the device is disconnected or the computer enters sleep mode.
