To fix the width of the base in a specific position, you have to tighten a screw with an Allen key, which is not included in the package. Once you do that, the base permanently loses the ability to be easily adjusted. You can no longer adapt it if you change phones or if you put on/take off a case, while at the same time it does not hold the phone with absolute stability.
As a result, the only practical solution is to set the width to a "loose" position, where the phone goes in and out relatively easily. If you want greater security, you will have to use the Allen key every time you place or remove the phone. If you leave the screw loose, the metal opening-closing mechanism starts to creak and wobble, because it is made of separate pieces and not of a single plastic body with elastic edges.

    * The circled points in the photo are the ones that need an Allen key.

The best value for money out there, lasted over 1 year (30k+ kilometers) of use in delivery until it had an issue with the screw threads.

Quite good... it fits easily on the mirror. The downside that I see, maybe I have done something wrong, is that when I don't have the phone on the holder - I emphasize this - with the vibrations of the engine, it unscrews and "opens" the case. With the phone on the case, no problem. I have it on a Honda SH150.

Very good to excellent. The side screw that tightens the phone and has a small screw nearby so that this screw does not loosen. It is stable. I recommend it

Excellent Very good for its price.... It has something like anti-vibration and it moves a little... If you have a case, you don't put the sponges it comes with, you put a small one in the opening so it doesn't rattle when you don't have the phone on top... I have it in the photo.... You need to see if there is room for the mirror to screw in if it has enough turns because the base is thick and the mirror didn't screw in for me again.... There is another one at the store with more money that adjusts up and down and left and right

It's worth its money. The only negative thing is that when you don't have the phone on it, you have to screw the screw to tighten the clamp, otherwise it squeaks. Obviously, the metal is very good. It's worth it completely. It is meant to be attached to the mirror

The best support for your mobile if you don't need an anti-vibration system*, it tightens with a screw and doesn't move at all. All metal, it doesn't have anything to break compared to some multiple-priced ones with complex and fragile mechanisms that break in a short time.

*the anti-vibration helps in mobiles that have OIS on the camera lens otherwise it has no reason to exist. Personally, even with OIS, I didn't have a problem having such bases for 3 years, but that may not mean anything.
