Basketball has undergone many changes in the last twenty to thirty years, especially regarding technical analysis and strategic preparation for dealing with opponents. Today, science has penetrated all levels of the sport, making it much more demanding for both players and coaches.

The simple form of statistical analysis information and game analysis through video analysis has primarily evolved through information technology to a large extent, especially in the last decade. Nowadays, in some cases, particularly in high-level teams, competitive obligations are more frequent than in previous years. More games mean there is more data and information.

Several teams are often required to travel from game to game without practice, and timely and accurate information about techniques and other characteristics is now essential, which is provided to the team's coaches at the click of a button through online platforms.

Staffing teams with specialized personnel and continuously updating coaches on new methods and models of technical-tactical analysis create conditions for better organization of training, proper evaluation and utilization of players, and better game strategies aimed at achieving victory.

This book is an attempt to support fellow coaches and beyond. I am grateful to all my colleagues in the field of Physical Education and Sport Science, as well as to fellow coach collaborators who have shared their knowledge, information, and time with me over the past twenty-five years. They have significantly contributed to the creation of many models and analytical techniques described in this book.
