First time buying wireless over-ear headphones, so I’m not comparing them to others in their category, just objectively as a headphone user. Keep in mind I’ve only used them wirelessly.

Firstly, their connectivity is excellent, both on PC (Windows 10) and on mobile. They also charge quickly. The build materials are quality, and they are attractive headphones, with many options for ANC, which even if you don’t use, the headphones seal well on you so noise is greatly reduced (be careful with ANC all the time, studies say it’s not good). There’s also a feature for pairing with two devices, which is convenient for phone and PC with seamless transition.

I find several negatives:

- Firstly, they are the most uncomfortable over-ear headphones I’ve used. Not that they’re terrible, but all the others I happened to have were more comfortable, less tight. Still, if you want them for the gym and do exercises lying down, they often come off.

- Also, it’s unacceptable that they only come with one set of leatherette pads and not a second set of another fabric. The leatherette, as expected, makes you sweat a lot, and I don’t know how durable it will be in a year.

- The battery seems small. With continuous connection to the PC, you get two days and then you have to stop to charge, as you can’t charge and use them at the same time.

- The sound isn’t bad but it’s not what I expected. Especially on PC, you definitely need to use the Fx sound program, which applies some equalizer settings automatically and you get a much better result, because out of the box they just have bad sound (always wirelessly). The problem is that this program has to always run in the background of your PC. And it’s detected as a sound device on the PC, so you don’t actually select the headphones as the device, but this program which is the headphones equalized. The really annoying part is that by default the program always considers a random mic I have connected as the sound device, so every time I connect the headphones, I have to change it. Another thing about the sound, I haven’t managed with the equalizers to make the vocals sound both loud and clear and have balanced sound in the other frequencies. And the bass, although not bad, seems somewhat fake to me.

I bought them to replace the W828NB from the same company, which was my first experience with noise cancelling headphones. The out of the box sound seemed mediocre to me, maybe even inferior to the previous model I had used. With a little tweak in EQ on the PC and with the Edifier Connect on the phone, however, they can produce impressive results. If you don't want to bother too much, simply choose the dynamic mode and you will automatically have better sound. On the PC, I recommend downloading FX Sound. The gaming mode is perhaps the most suitable for balanced sound. The passive noise cancellation is very good, the headphones block out a lot of noise just by wearing them. With active noise cancellation enabled, there are many types of sounds that you simply can't hear even without music. Some examples:
- TV in the background: you can't hear anything with high noise cancellation and without music
- Computer fans: you can't hear anything with medium noise cancellation
- Floor fan: it's impressive that you can only feel the air without hearing it even without music
- Moving on the streets: with music, you can't hear anything (and you need to be careful with this)
- Metro/train/bus: you also can't hear anything at all when playing music at moderate volume.

They do indeed connect very quickly to an Android mobile phone, even with older Bluetooth technology on a laptop. Their range is impeccable without interruptions in sound when moving around the house. They work perfectly even behind closed doors. LDAC, which is a prerequisite for HiRes audio, is worth it, but you will have to sacrifice the connection to multiple devices and battery life.

Speaking of the battery, the truth is that with active noise cancellation on, the battery drains quite quickly. Edifier claims 34 hours, but I don't think that's true, especially if you are in a noisy environment. However, charging is very fast, and in ten minutes with a power bank, it went from 16% to 55%. Here I should also add a positive note: the app shows the exact battery percentage and does not round it to the nearest ten like I have seen in other headphones.

And because I don't see many reviews mentioning the use with a cable, the headphones come with a gold-plated 3.5mm cable, one end of which has an angled plug for easier placement and durability. It doesn't easily come loose, and you won't hear any interference even on a mobile phone while you're on the move. You can still use the noise cancellation normally when connected with a cable, but you will have to open the headphones. The battery drains more slowly this way because Bluetooth is not turned on. However, you cannot charge them simultaneously. The sound quality with the cable is clearly better, slightly better than LDAC, I would say. The microphone is obviously disabled when you connect the cable.

Another very positive aspect is the presence of physical buttons on the headphones. Personally, I prefer them over gestures and touch surfaces that are more easily damaged. I would prefer the power button not to be located between the volume +/- buttons, but it's a minor issue.

The packaging includes a hard carrying case with compartments to prevent the headphones from hitting each other.

Let's move on to the negatives:
- Weight: Yes, they are very premium in construction, they look more expensive than they actually are, and I hope this translates into durability as well. BUT they are considerably heavier than any headset I have used, and this can be tiring if you wear them for 3+ hours straight.
- The function of connecting to 2 devices is not that good. The lag is noticeable when there is a second device connected. Also, many times disconnecting one device can cause resume/stop playback on the second device. Generally, if it's not necessary for you, I would recommend turning it off by enabling LDAC.
- Noise cancellation requires the headphones to be turned on. Something that I found quite convenient in the W828NB is that I could activate ANC with a separate switch, which was accompanied by a green light. Quite convenient when I used them with a cable.
- When changing modes (high noise cancellation, medium nc, ambient, wind reduction, nc off) as well as when a device connects or disconnects, the headphones "announce" this change using a voice that reduces the volume of the sound you're listening to, and there is no way to disable this. A firmware update would help.
- Noise cancellation is automatically turned off when the microphone is opened, so you can never have NC during calls.

UPDATE: First use on a flight and the noise cancellation did not disappoint.

There are very few reviews in Greek, so I feel that I should cover as many aspects as possible. Initially, along with the headphones, you receive a case for them, of decent quality, a jack cable for wired connection, a USB type C charging cable, and an airplane adapter. As for the sound, there are many aspects to cover. With the appropriate settings through the Edifier app, you can achieve excellent results. Initially, they have very good and clear sound. If you listen to songs with lyrics, you will hear the voices very clearly. I listen to music without lyrics and I am very satisfied. However, the app allows you to adjust the frequencies according to your preferences with noticeable results. Alternatively, you can choose between the classic mode (sound adjusted for calmer music) or dynamic mode (sound adjusted for louder music with a noticeable increase in bass). Personally, I prefer the dynamic mode because the sound in the classic mode seemed somewhat "thin" to me. One concern I had before purchasing them was the volume. I had heard from 2-3 reviews that the volume was quite low (many others did not mention the volume). In reality, the volume is satisfactory. Yes, they are indeed classified as headphones with lower volume, but it does not in any way ruin the listener's experience. If you are someone who wants to listen to music VERY loudly, they may not be suitable for you. As someone who enjoys listening to loud music, I was satisfied. As for the wired connection, the sound quality decreases as the headphones now rely on the device's sound card. A concern for many may be the sound delay (latency), meaning that the sound may not synchronize with a video due to the wireless connection. If you use the headphones wired on your mobile device for social media, you will be fine. There is a slight delay, but it is almost unnoticeable. However, if you play games on your mobile device, you will notice a noticeable delay compared to social media because, as far as I know, games do not recognize the headphones and therefore do not adjust the sound delay for them. In the Edifier app, there is a game mode that reduces the sound delay to 80 milliseconds, but the delay is still noticeable. Other than games, you will not have any issues. There is also a theater mode where the sound is adjusted for watching movies and series, which I never had to use. The noise isolation of the headphones without any additional feature is very good. Of course, active noise cancellation (ANC) provides even better noise isolation (very good in this model), but personally, I did not prefer it because when I paused or lowered the volume, I felt an annoying pressure in my ears similar to the one created on an airplane. However, ANC also provides deeper bass when activated. Due to the pressure it creates, I did not prefer it. However, there is a function that offers the bass like ANC without the annoying pressure in the ears. The ambient mode. In reality, this function is the opposite of ANC, meaning it allows you to hear the sounds around you more easily. Very useful and I preferred it. The sound insulation did not deteriorate at all as, as I mentioned before, the headphones themselves do a very good job in terms of sound insulation as well as in all areas. They are very convenient, of course, after many hours of use, there is some discomfort in the head with any model and it cannot be avoided. Their battery lasts quite a long time. It is stated that they last for 55 hours without any of the functions I mentioned, and 33 hours if you use ANC or ambient mode. Something that is not mentioned is the battery life when using LDAC. LDAC offers better sound quality with much better response and frequency range, but it reduces the battery life more (I believe about 18 hours). But trust me, it is not a problem as the headphones have fast charging capability where you get 7 hours of operation in just 10 minutes! If you are going to use them with a computer, I recommend using them wired to avoid any sound delay. However, if you are only considering getting them for a computer, I do not recommend it as you will not be able to enjoy their capabilities. There are some extra features such as dual device connection that allows you to connect them to 2 devices simultaneously (although LDAC needs to be deactivated) and safe sound where it limits the sound intensity to 85 decibels to ensure ear health. Also, something that is important for me, when I turn the volume to the maximum, there is no sound interrupting the music like in other headphones, very convenient. I hope I covered most people's questions and helped in your final decision. For me, as a mobile and computer user, they get a 5/5.

edit: Actually, regarding the wired connection, as long as you have plugged in the cable, you can open them and they will work with good quality with ANC, ambient mode, etc. without any sound delay. So, they are perfect for use with a computer as well if you don't mind the cable.
