The Traxxas TRX-4M 1/18 electric rock crawler with Land Rover Defender body is a small crawler ready for adventure. The highly detailed ABS body features clipless mounting, which is installed on a rigid C-channel frame. The frame is supported by four oil-filled GTM shocks, adding control and preventing body roll. The axles are connected to the frame via full 4-link suspension. The vehicle’s performance is enhanced with a steering angle up to 45°, making trail maneuvering easier.

    The car is fantastic and capable for what it offers. Traxxas has made an effort to reduce the construction cost without compromising quality and performance. I think they have succeeded in the performance aspect. As for the quality, they have generally achieved it, but there are some issues that can be easily solved (e.g. the pins from the drive shafts come off on their own or the mirrors that can come off with the slightest touch).

    It is worth mentioning that apart from a plethora of spare parts and accessories from the same company, as well as from 3rd party brands (Injora, Treal, Meus racing, etc.), which means:
    1) no matter what breaks, you can replace it
    2) you can customize the vehicle to your liking
    3) you can upgrade it for better performance
