I have the keyboard (tactile version) for almost a month. Incredible in terms of aesthetics, due to its low-profile body made of sturdy aluminum and excellent LED backlighting of the keys, without falling into the trap of "gaming" flashy appearance, it rather resembles a corporate environment.

Coming from a classic membrane keyboard, the responsiveness of the keys is shocking, thanks to the mechanical nature of the switches as well as their very small travel distance due to their low profile. For these reasons, it is ideal for typing text, as it is incredibly comfortable, as it does not require much pressure to press the keys. Also, due to their glossy texture, the fingers glide effortlessly from one key to another, encouraging you to type faster and faster (this can be a disadvantage if you tend to make typing errors, as it is more likely for a key to register compared to a harder and longer-travel keyboard).

It is also great for the wrists, as it is so low that it feels like typing directly on the surface of your desk, without the usual upward tilt that palms usually take. It also has adjustable feet for those who want them, but in my opinion, they are unnecessary.

The tactile element is not very pronounced due to the low profile, so it shouldn't have much difference from the linear version. If they had the same price, I would probably go straight for the linear one. I haven't tried the clicky one either, but personally, I don't want the intense clicky sound.

It is very important to know that the secondary symbols (the ones you press in combination with shift) on the number row and punctuation marks, as well as on the NumPad, DO NOT HAVE BACKLIGHTING (for example, in the dark, only the '2' is visible on the top left, not the symbol '@'). This decision was made purely for aesthetic reasons, for a cleaner design, which is true, but on the other hand, for someone, it may not be acceptable and may affect usability for the sake of appearance.

In addition to the conventional keys, it has media controls along with an incredibly smooth volume wheel, 5 extra programmable keys (8 if you use one of them as a shift) for each of the 3 profiles that can be saved in its memory, a button to change lighting modes, one to disable the win button, and 3 for the corresponding profiles. It also has a USB (presumably 2.0) port on the top for easy access (optional).

For gaming, it is ideal due to its speed and responsiveness in key presses, but it does NOT offer button remapping beyond the 5 programmable keys (so for me, being left-handed and always making changes to the buttons, if the game developer does not have good remapping options, I have to resort to software solutions, each of which has its quirks, some requiring log out-log in to write to the registry, the Windows powertoys don't work well with remapping modifier buttons, etc.)

And let's move on to the NEGATIVES, which almost all relate to the unacceptable Ghub software from Logitech and the keyboard's dependence on it. The software is an ode to unnecessary complexity, I would really like to know about the childhood of the person who programmed it, you will scratch your head at the beginning even for the simplest functions. Even when you figure out some things, you will still find shortcomings for useful features.

You can, after programming your shortcuts and lighting, transfer them to the internal memory and not use the application, but not everything is transferred, for example, you can save a macro or a combination of keys but not a shortcut to open a custom .exe (e.g. the browser). Also, the lighting effects like waves, etc. are nice, but I would prefer more practical options, for example, to light up the Caps Lock or NumLock only when active, or to change the color of Shift+Alt according to the system language, etc. At least you have the ability to change the color of each key separately and save it as a personal profile.

Some games are supposed to affect the lighting for more immersion, personally I couldn't get ANY to work, and I'm not really interested in investigating it further, another success of ghub.

To conclude the ideas presentation, in my personal opinion, it's an amazing hardware experience that comes with unacceptable software, unfortunately the feel of low profile in typing is something purely subjective, I can't promise that everyone will like it, it's difficult to find it on display somewhere to try it out, like me, you take a chance and it's not the cheapest product either.

Around €120 where I found it, it will mainly be judged by its durability to determine if it's worth it because as a hardware experience it's amazing. If any mechanical problem arises, I will come back.

I was a bit torn about what rating to give it, but I ultimately chose to be more lenient because I am generally quite satisfied with the product. It is a very aesthetically pleasing keyboard for my taste, with a low-profile and minimalist design. Although it is considered a gaming keyboard, it doesn't visually scream "gaming" and could easily be used in an office setting without others thinking you got it from a cousin who plays Fortnite. Its construction is quite sturdy, and you can immediately feel it when you hold it in your hands. My model has Logitech tactile switches. I would say that compared to the equivalent Cherry switches, the Logitech browns feel more like a mix of MX Browns and MX Reds, which makes them ideal for both gaming and typing in my opinion. They are somewhere in between. Some people may not like this as much. Cleaning this particular keyboard is also quite easy. It uses a braided and double cable because there is a USB port on the keyboard. It works perfectly fine with the G Hub software, and there is a lot of customization available for those who are interested.

At this point, I would like to mention something very negative that was the reason why I didn't give it 5 stars and was even considering giving it fewer stars. Just after 8 months of use, not even 1 year, the black color on 2 buttons has started to come off. I didn't hit it or drop anything on it. I have included a photo to show exactly what I mean. I find it unacceptable for this to happen so early for a keyboard that costs around 200 euros. I have read that this has happened even earlier for others, while some have not experienced it at all, so it may also be a matter of luck.

First time mechanical keyboard owner, but I had my eye on it. However, the price is too high for what it offers, considering there are much cheaper competitors that do the exact same things.

Perfect lighting and satisfactory settings for the LEDs, although I expected something more.
You can use only 2 shortcuts to change the lighting instantly based on your preference (Brightness+8 and Brightness+9), and you have to go through the gear icon (G815 Settings) and the setting is in Effects on Device.
Otherwise, whatever you change each time through Logitech G HUB or whatever it has in default.
You can't make them instantly white (to see something) with one press, but with Brightness+0 it makes them ice blue, which is very close to that.

I had no issues with typing or gaming.
Somewhere I saw a negative comment that it doesn't display Greek characters on the keys.
The keyboard is American (hence the US in the title), but other than that, it's not intended for beginners. It assumes that you have at least tried a regular keyboard in your life, and from a certain age onwards, someone doesn't need to tell you what the equivalent of each letter is in Greek.

Although it's Tactile, the noise doesn't bother at all, it's very close to the noise of a regular keyboard.

The volume scroll bar works instantly, I mention it because someone in a video said it has a delay.
