At Sony, we have extended the use of recycled materials beyond the camera body to include accessories as well. During careful testing of sound quality performance and wind protection, we developed a wind protector using fibers made from exclusively recycled polyester.

To reduce the use of plastic in packaging, we now use non-woven fabric of plant origin or paper bags to wrap our products while maintaining the protective properties and large cushions of plastic.
