Who outshines the nymphs in beauty,

Redder than a rose, whiter than a dove,

When nature crafted you, she declared,

The world would end as soon as you perish.

“So deign, marvel, to dismount from your horse,

And here, tether your beautiful head nearby,

If you grant me this favor, your reward

Will be to learn a thousand sweet secrets,

Come sit here, where no serpent passes,
