I bought this particular package because I ran out of MX-6 Rev.2 and isopropyl alcohol. All versions (4g/8g/4g with 6 wipes) are very cheap, around 5 euros, 4 times cheaper than Arctic's MSRP. The store did not have it in stock, as they sell out very quickly, but they brought it to me within 2 days, which is positive as you definitely won't get an expired one this way. I received Revision 4, which was released on September 10th (it's the one that says New Formula and has a very dark, almost black, blue package). Unlike Revision 2, the wipes do not make the whole room smell like a car workshop but have a mild lemon scent; however, they still dry quickly, which is intended, and you have to use half of them to clean the CPU and cooler. For the price, I can't complain, but it's better to get isopropyl alcohol from a pharmacy. Regarding the paste, Revisions 3 and 4 have the new formula, which, compared to the old MX-6, improves performance and prevents the pump out effect by being much thicker. What is the pump out effect? When a paste heats up and cools down, due to expansion and contraction, its position shifts from the IHS outward, resulting in not enough paste between the heat spreader and the cooler after several months. According to Arctic, there is only one correct way to apply it, and that is the X method. Other methods, like the 5-dot method, are wrong as they trap air. At first, I had quite a hard time getting the paste out of the tube, and when it came out, it didn't want to come off or stick to the IHS, as if it had been greased with oil. The cap also stuck to the tube, so care will be needed when removing the cooler from the CPU in the future.

Από τιμή παίζουν πολύ φθηνά όλες οι εκδόσεις (4γρ./8γρ./4γρ. με 6 μαντηλάκια) γύρω στα 5 ευρώ, 4 φορές πιο φθηνά από το MSRP της Arctic. Το κατάστημα δεν την είχε ετοιμοπαράδοτη, καθώς εξαντλούνται πολύ γρήγορα, και μου την έφερε μέσα σε 2 μέρες, θετικό καθώς σίγουρα δε θα πάρεις ληγμένη έτσι. Παρέλαβα το Revision 4 το οποίο κυκλοφόρησε στις 10 Σεπτεμβρίου (είναι αυτό που λέει New Formula και έχει πολύ σκούρο, σχεδόν μαύρο, μπλε πακετάκι). Σε αντίθεση με το Revision 2 τα μαντηλάκια δεν κάνουν όλο το δωμάτιο να μυρίζει σα συνεργείο αυτοκινήτων αλλά έχουν μία απαλή εσάνς λεμονιού, πάλι βέβαια στεγνώνουν γρήγορα, το οποίο είναι intended, και πρέπει να χαλάσεις τα μισά για να καθαρίσεις CPU και cooler. Για την τιμή δε μπορώ να παραπονεθώ αλλά καλύτερα ισοπροπυλική από φαρμακείο. Όσον αφορά την πάστα, τα Revisions 3 και 4 είναι με τη νέα συνταγή η οποία, σε σχέση με την παλιά MX-6, βελτιώνει την απόδοση και αποτρέπει το pump out effect όντας πολύ πιο παχύρρευστη. Τι είναι το pump out effect; Όταν μία πάστα ζεσταίνεται και κρυώνει, με τη συστολή διαστολή, η θέση της μεταβάλλεται από το IHS προς τα έξω με αποτέλεσμα μετά από αρκετούς μήνες να μην υπάρχει αρκετή πάστα ανάμεσα στο heat spreader και το cooler. Very good and easy application. One of the few kits (if not the only one I found on Skroutz) that additionally includes exactly as many wipes as needed for 1-3 applications. The paste, on the other hand, is enough for at least double the applications.

It was time to change the paste on my 12700KF, so I went for this one. It's about the same as the MX5 I had initially applied. Its texture is a bit thick and not easy to spread on the processor, so I preferred the X shape. The temperatures improved by 1°C-2°C.
The wipes are very good for cleaning both the processor and the cooler. They removed residue of paste that wasn't visible to the naked eye.
Ήταν καιρός να αλλάξω την πάστα στον 12700KF μου οπότε πήγα σε αυτήν. Είναι περίπου στα ίδια με την MX5 που είχα βάλει αρχικά. Η υφή της είναι λίγο παχύρευστη και όχι εύκολο να την αλλείψεις στον επεργαστή οπότε προτίμησα το σχήμα Χ. Οι θερμοκρασίες βελτιώθηκαν 1°C-2°C.
Τα μαντιλάκια είναι πολύ καλά για τον καθαρισμό και του επεξεργαστή αλλά και της ψύκτρας. Έβγαζαν υπολείμματα πάστας που δεν φαίνονταν με γυμνό μάτι.

Dell laptop with 9th generation i5 quad-core processor, it can handle up to 90 degrees and then dropped by about 10 degrees Celsius! Therefore, it performs its job more than satisfactorily. The cleaning wipes are a must and they smell good, but it's not a problem. Minus one star because it might give you a hard time during installation as it is very thick and dries immediately. Το κατάστημα δεν την είχε ετοιμοπαράδοτη, καθώς εξαντλούνται πολύ γρήγορα, και μου την έφερε μέσα σε 2 μέρες, θετικό καθώς σίγουρα δε θα πάρεις ληγμένη έτσι. Παρέλαβα το Revision 4 το οποίο κυκλοφόρησε στις 10 Σεπτεμβρίου (είναι αυτό που λέει New Formula και έχει πολύ σκούρο, σχεδόν μαύρο, μπλε πακετάκι). Σε αντίθεση με το Revision 2 τα μαντηλάκια δεν κάνουν όλο το δωμάτιο να μυρίζει σα συνεργείο αυτοκινήτων αλλά έχουν μία απαλή εσάνς λεμονιού, πάλι βέβαια στεγνώνουν γρήγορα, το οποίο είναι intended, και πρέπει να χαλάσεις τα μισά για να καθαρίσεις CPU και cooler. Για την τιμή δε μπορώ να παραπονεθώ αλλά καλύτερα ισοπροπυλική από φαρμακείο. Όσον αφορά την πάστα, τα Revisions 3 και 4 είναι με τη νέα συνταγή η οποία, σε σχέση με την παλιά MX-6, βελτιώνει την απόδοση και αποτρέπει το pump out effect όντας πολύ πιο παχύρρευστη. Τι είναι το pump out effect; Όταν μία πάστα ζεσταίνεται και κρυώνει, με τη συστολή διαστολή, η θέση της μεταβάλλεται από το IHS προς τα έξω με αποτέλεσμα μετά από αρκετούς μήνες να μην υπάρχει αρκετή πάστα ανάμεσα στο heat spreader και το cooler. Σύμφωνα με την Arctic υπάρχει μόνο ένας ορθός τρόπος εφαρμογής της και αυτός είναι το Χ. Άλλοι τρόποι όπως το ζάρι 5 είναι λάθος καθώς εγκλωβίζεται αέρας. Αρχικά δυσκολεύτηκα αρκετά να κάνω την πάστα να βγεί από το σωληνάριο και όταν βγήκε δεν ήθελε ούτε να φύγει αλλά ούτε και να κάτσει πάνω στο IHS, σα να το είχε αλείψει με λάδι. Το καπάκι επίσης κόλλησε πάνω στο σωληνάριο οπότε θα χρειαστεί προσοχή στην αποκόλληση του cooler από το CPU στο μέλλον.

Σαν πάστα είναι πολύ καλή απο θέμα θερμοκρασίας αλλα μην δοκιμάσετε να την απλώσετε με σπάτουλα, ειναι πολύ δυσκολο. Επιλεξτε οποιαδήποτε αλλη μέθοδο και όλα καλά.
Τώρα οσο για τα μαντιλάκια δεν χρειάστηκε να τα ανοίξω, αν και απο οτι διάβασα σε άλλες κριτικές ίσως καλύτερα.

Very good and easy application. One of the few kits (if not the only one I found on Skroutz) that additionally includes exactly as many wipes as needed for 1-3 applications. The paste, on the other hand, is enough for at least double the applications.

It was time to change the paste on my 12700KF, so I went for this one. It's about the same as the MX5 I had initially applied. Its texture is a bit thick and not easy to spread on the processor, so I preferred the X shape. The temperatures improved by 1°C-2°C.
The wipes are very good for cleaning both the processor and the cooler. They removed residue of paste that wasn't visible to the naked eye.
Ήταν καιρός να αλλάξω την πάστα στον 12700KF μου οπότε πήγα σε αυτήν. Είναι περίπου στα ίδια με την MX5 που είχα βάλει αρχικά. Η υφή της είναι λίγο παχύρευστη και όχι εύκολο να την αλλείψεις στον επεργαστή οπότε προτίμησα το σχήμα Χ. Οι θερμοκρασίες βελτιώθηκαν 1°C-2°C.
Τα μαντιλάκια είναι πολύ καλά για τον καθαρισμό και του επεξεργαστή αλλά και της ψύκτρας. Έβγαζαν υπολείμματα πάστας που δεν φαίνονταν με γυμνό μάτι.

Dell laptop with 9th generation i5 quad-core processor, it can handle up to 90 degrees and then dropped by about 10 degrees Celsius! Therefore, it performs its job more than satisfactorily. The cleaning wipes are a must and they smell good, but it's not a problem. Minus one star because it might give you a hard time during installation as it is very thick and dries immediately. Reasonable price, considering the quality.

I bought this particular package because I ran out of MX-6 Rev.2 and isopropyl alcohol. All versions (4g/8g/4g with 6 wipes) are very cheap, around 5 euros, 4 times cheaper than Arctic's MSRP. The store did not have it in stock, as they sell out very quickly, but they brought it to me within 2 days, which is positive as you definitely won't get an expired one this way. I received Revision 4, which was released on September 10th (it's the one that says New Formula and has a very dark, almost black, blue package). Unlike Revision 2, the wipes do not make the whole room smell like a car workshop but have a mild lemon scent; however, they still dry quickly, which is intended, and you have to use half of them to clean the CPU and cooler. For the price, I can't complain, but it's better to get isopropyl alcohol from a pharmacy. Regarding the paste, Revisions 3 and 4 have the new formula, which, compared to the old MX-6, improves performance and prevents the pump out effect by being much thicker. What is the pump out effect? When a paste heats up and cools down, due to expansion and contraction, its position shifts from the IHS outward, resulting in not enough paste between the heat spreader and the cooler after several months. According to Arctic, there is only one correct way to apply it, and that is the X method. Other methods, like the 5-dot method, are wrong as they trap air. At first, I had quite a hard time getting the paste out of the tube, and when it came out, it didn't want to come off or stick to the IHS, as if it had been greased with oil. The cap also stuck to the tube, so care will be needed when removing the cooler from the CPU in the future.
