In the early 20th century, during the Macedonian Struggle, two children, Apostolis and Giovan, risk their lives to help the Macedonian fighters capture the lake of Giannitsa, Valtos, which was one of the most strategic points of the war.
Through the adventures of the two children, Penelope S. Delta reveals heroic moments of great historical figures, such as Telos Agras and Captain Nikiforos, as well as unknown aspects of the Macedonian Struggle. One of Penelope S. Delta's best novels about self-sacrifice, heroism, and solidarity in the harsh conditions of war.
A supplement is included with the historical context of the Macedonian Struggle and a glossary of difficult words according to the objectives set by the New Curriculum for teaching Literature in Primary and Secondary Education.
