The edition The Gorgeous Nothings is the first full-color reproduction of Emily Dickinson's manuscripts ever published. It is a luxurious edition of her final writings, presenting this critical, experimental work as she wrote it, on pieces of envelopes. The book presents all the writings on the envelopes — a total of 52 — reproduced in actual size and in full-color printing, both front and back, accompanied by a transcription that facilitates reading, allowing us to enjoy this lesser-known but significant body of Dickinson's writing. Designed by artist Jen Bervin and made possible thanks to the extensive research of Dickinson scholar Marta L. Werner, this book offers a new understanding and appreciation of Emily Dickinson's genius.
