The EBL C906 charger has four independent slots, allowing it to charge different numbers of compatible rechargeable Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries at the same time. It accepts AA, AAA, C and D batteries, as well as one or two 9V batteries. It automatically stops charging if it detects an unsuitable input voltage, a defective or short-circuited battery, or a non-rechargeable battery.

When charging 2–4 AA, AAA, C or D batteries, the total current is 2 A. The estimated charging time for one Ni-MH battery is 0.5–1.2 hours for an AAA battery with a capacity of 500–1,200 mAh, 1.3–2.8 hours for an AA battery with a capacity of 1,300–2,800 mAh, 1.8–5 hours for a C battery with a capacity of 1,800–5,000 mAh, 1.8–10 hours for a D battery with a capacity of 1,800–10,000 mAh, and 2.5–10 hours for a 9V battery with a capacity of 150–600 mAh.
