The G.Skill Ares, named after the ancient Greek mythology figure "Ares," the god of war, is aimed at users who demand high power and stability from their computer.


DDR3

DDR3 is the third generation of RAM memory technology for computers. It replaces DDR2 and offers increased speeds and capacity.

It offers operating speeds from 800MT/s to 2133MT/s, response time (CAS Latency) from CL4 to CL19, while its capacity has increased up to 16GB per memory module.

For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the larger size we choose, the better performance we will have in our system, while for response time (CL), we want the smallest size for the speed (MT/s) we have chosen.

The above characteristics should be compatible with our motherboard specifications.

The G.Skill Ares DDR3 provides a speed of 2400MT/s, with CL11 and 8GB per memory module.

Compatibility
