Description & Specifications

OLD STORY: One afternoon, a cousin of hers passed by and said something to her. Several days went by, and the girl seemed unwell; she kept standing by the window, even at night, until one evening her loud cursing was heard throughout the village, laughing and saying all the terrible things - which she knew and had drawn out of her mouth - words that cannot be spoken...

The women were left holding corn in their hands: 'Oh, oh...', they perked up their ears. Her mother pretended not to recognize the voice, claiming she didn’t understand where all this noise was coming from, and when she slipped away from the others, she started to run as if she were trying to extinguish a fire without water, running and begging that it be a mistake, a mistake, that this was not her daughter.

When she arrived and lifted her eyes to the house, there was the girl - a Caryatid - struggling at the window! She ran up with a cloth in her hands, ready to throw it at her, as if a bird were escaping from its cage, and pulled her into the room. 'What happened to you, you black and dirty girl, what happened to you, you swollen one, may the snakes eat us... Shut up, shut up...', she threw her to the floor and fell on top of her.

And the girl, laughing and wailing like a dog: '...may you never reach the crowns, may you never reach! May you never get married, don't you dare... her...,' and she spoke all the filth and wickedness, laughing once again.
