Good shoe, first time user of Hoka after owning Nike Pegasus 39 and 40 and Asics. I have to say they are quite more comfortable than the others. The sole is durable, as is the fabric on top, which in my other shoes got ruined immediately. Only the plastic underneath tore, but that might be from motorcycle use, but with special glue, it stuck and isn't noticeable. They don't hit, they don't slip, and they are perfect for standing.

I received them today and I've been wearing them since the morning. Incredibly soft and lightweight, I got them for standing and I think they will do the job. This is my first pair in Hoka and the only possibly negative thing is that after reading reviews I decided to get size 38 2/3 while I usually wear 38, and they fit me just a bit large. Maybe size 38 would have been the right size but I was influenced by the reviews. A minor issue.

I bought them a second time, after 14 months of use the first pair taught me what a good shoe means. Proper walking, they align the hips, the knees, the soles. You put them on and they walk on their own. Now a Hoka must exist at home for dog walks, for travel, for any demanding day.

I had the clifton 8 for about a year. Despite having some wear and tear, they are still okay, but I decided to get the new clifton 9. They are pretty much the same as the 8. Very soft insole. I use them daily mainly for walking. I tried them on at the store along with the bondi 8, and even though I read that the bondi has the best cushion, they felt harder and less flexible than the clifton to me.
