ASUS Corporate Stable Model

The ASUS Corporate Stable Model (CSM) is a commercial program designed to provide stable and reliable motherboards. It offers up to 36 months of product lifecycle support and a 6-month end-of-life notice, giving your organization ample time to prepare for product transition. Each purchase of an ASUS CSM motherboard comes with ASUS Control Center Express, server-grade IT management software.

ASUS Control Center Express

Comprehensive Energy Efficiency

The Energy Saving function includes various settings that can easily optimize power consumption and maximize energy savings. You can enable a CPU power limit, turn off Aura lighting, and set the fan profile to energy-saving mode.

You can also enable the power-saving plan built into Microsoft Windows.

Fan Xpert 2+

Flexible cooling controls

The ASUS Fan Xpert 2+ software provides comprehensive control of the fans. An auto-tuning function intelligently adjusts all parameters with a single click. There is also an Extreme Quiet mode that reduces the chassis fan speeds below the default minimum limit, so your system remains quiet during light tasks. The fans can also be controlled via the UEFI BIOS.

M.2 Heatsink

The M.2 heatsink prevents throttling that can occur with M.2 storage during continuous transfers. The heatsink is held in place with standoff screws, and these removable standoff screws help reduce the risk of dropping or losing them when removing the heatsink.

VRM Cooling

The VRM heatsink and thermal pads improve heat transfer from the MOSFETs and chokes for better cooling performance.

DDR4 Support

Improvements in trace routing design provide the latest Intel processors with enhanced access to memory bandwidth. ASUS OptiMem II technology carefully maps the memory signal paths across different layers of the PCB to reduce path distance and adds shielding zones that significantly reduce crosstalk.

ASUS OptiMem II

The revisions in the motherboard's trace routing provide the latest processors with unrestricted access to memory bandwidth. ASUS OptiMem II technology carefully maps the memory signal paths across different layers of the PCB to reduce vias and adds shielding zones that significantly reduce crosstalk.

Storage

The PRIME B760 motherboard offers a total of two M.2 slots that support data transfer speeds of up to 64 Gbps via PCIe 4.0, enabling faster boot and application load times with operating system or application drives.

PCIe 4.0 Slot

The PRIME B760 motherboard is specifically designed for 13th and 12th generation Intel processors and offers PCIe 4.0 connectivity for the latest GPUs.

So, the motherboard I bought for €115 is fantastic (and that's an understatement).
    First of all, I have put on it a 12700 i7 with 4x8GB 3600MHz CL16-16-16-38 RAM and 2 drives, 1TB each (XPG S70 7000MB + Kingston 1TB 3500MB).
For cooling, an Arctic Freezer 36 CO.
It keeps the processor at 20-22°C idle and no matter how much video processing I do, how much AI, how many Virtual Machines (Palo Alto, Angel, Imperva, etc.), I never get the processor above 55-58°C.
The VRMs are incredible, as is its utility (just needs some patience at first).
Very good compatibility with DDR4 RAM and a multitude of port options.

    Negatives:
    1. It doesn't have a Type-C USB, fortunately it has a plug for Type-C on the case but not included with it.
    2. It has an above average sound card, no optical, etc., and it's OK for games and movies/music but not for "serious" music/video editing (well, I've seen €300 motherboards with the same and I find it UNACCEPTABLE but I'll overlook it for a €100 motherboard).
    3. It doesn't have a magnetic WiFi antenna. I would have liked the magnet for the case, fortunately I put a sticker and placed it on the desk since the case went on the floor.

I also put a 14600k in it since I found the tray for €186 and although it doesn't have OC, I noticed it disables the e-cores through the utility and leaves the p-cores for use. Very good, because for gaming you waste (even at idle) power on the e-cores and they're just at 1%... Here you save on power and temperature and you don't waste resources or the CPU's lifespan.
