Excellent cooperative game. The rules are quite simple and can be played by younger children as well. The only help they might need is reading the special cards, as the game is in English. Even that, however, becomes less necessary after a few games, as they may remember what each card does from its picture. Another positive is that the number of cards each player has varies depending on how many players there are, allowing the difficulty to be adjusted. It requires strategy and cooperation for the players to win, but all plans can be overturned depending on what monster card they draw. The expansions give a different dimension to the game. Some have simple additions of abilities for players or enemies, while others completely change the game by adding new mechanics, such as missions. We haven't tried them all yet, but I hope we will. The illustrations on the cards and tiles are well-crafted and beautiful, with a cartoonish style that children really like. The box is designed so that all the pieces can be organized in compartments, which helps a lot with setting up the game. The most important thing is that the kids loved it. We got it because they had My First Castle Panic and they liked it a lot, and we thought it would be a good next step. In the end, it was even better than we expected.
