Unfortunately, it is not a reliable forehead thermometer. It has large discrepancies and inaccurate measurements. To be fair, measurements were cross-checked with five different thermometers (3 armpit thermometers of different brands, 1 ear thermometer, and one similar forehead thermometer). The worst part is that I needed it for a 6-month-old baby who had a fever of 38-38.5 °C, while the thermometer showed at most 37 °C.

I should mention, however, that in the function of measuring room temperature, it is quite accurate.

But this particular product doesn't even work. It turns off on its own immediately and you don't have time to take any measurements. And of course, you can't return it. Don't buy it, go to a pharmacy and purchase one with a warranty where they will be able to assist you in any case.

I bought it after reading the reviews.. every random measurement showed 36.2.. my high fever of 38.5 and this one.. 36.2..

For an electronic device, I can say that the measurements are quite accurate in the center of the forehead. It doesn't make any sound when measuring and it seems to be of good quality

Follow the instructions and you will measure just fine. It even has an option for calibration if something is not measured well, a function that is missing from more expensive ones.

For a period of time it showed close to reality (+/- 1 degree) after a few months without dropping or anything happening, now no matter what you measure it says 36.3-36.4 and it could be 40

Very good for its price, it gives you the temperature in 1 second. You just need to measure 2-3 times because it may give you 36.6 the first time, then 36.8, and the next time 37, at the same time, without this meaning that it is wrong (it may have to do with the distance). However, once it gave me 36.9 and then I measured the temperature with a mercury thermometer and it gave me the same result.

The summer seemed fine. I don't know if it's because it's winter or simply its lifespan is 2-3 months. The child has a fever of 39.1 and it shows 36.6! The baby has been with 38.5 for how many days now and it shows 36.4, 36.3, it even showed 36.8 and we were impressed. What a shame. It's not worth buying, you can't trust what it shows.

I have not checked if it shows the temperature correctly with conventional thermometers, that's why I did not give it 5 stars. Easy to use. First, read the distance from the forehead that it should be, I don't remember, my son took it and got COVID... of course, he didn't return it...

The deviations with the classic armpit thermometer are 0.5-0.7°C. I don't know how much better the more expensive infrared ones really are, because they are currently out of my budget.

Considering that it is infrared (requires good targeting, clean forehead) and therefore not absolutely accurate, it is very useful for a first impression. Then, for accuracy, a classic thermometer. Very good for what it is.

I ordered this thermometer last June. At first, everything was fine, it was working with small deviations of + - 0.3. Yesterday, when I opened it to measure my child's temperature, the thermometer got stuck on the stored previous measurements... I tried everything, I read the manual again and again to see if I was doing something wrong, but nothing. The initial SCAN button is not working... it doesn't go back to the initial indication to measure the temperature.

It shows your temperature with a deviation of 0.2 when you are standing with room temperature. In case you are in heat or cold, it shows random readings. Personally, it made me go back to the previous one, as it is the most reliable.

In consecutive temperature measurements from an adult, the readings range from 36.1 to 36.8 from a fixed distance (3 centimeters) and targeting the same spot.
Therefore, it is not considered reliable.

Excellent device. At least for measuring human temperature. Minimum deviation +-~0.2. For measuring environmental temperature, it depends on where you aim. Still relatively accurate.

Finally, it is a good thermometer and very easy to use. Also, it is one of the few that does not resemble plastic water guns

Very good! It takes accurate measurements with a deviation of around +-0.3, I believe. Additionally, you can measure surfaces and liquids, which is very useful if you have a baby.
