The purchase was made for a residence outside Athens, in an area where there is no telephone line, so we were looking for something that could connect either to a router with a SIM card or for the camera itself to have a SIM card and be able to have live footage in case we were away. In the end, we couldn't connect it to the router and the process didn't seem very easy to us, but the SIM card slot of the camera was helpful.
The installation of the camera was quite easy with the provided base, but the solar panel requires some additional equipment. We didn't connect it directly as we wanted to give it better exposure to the sun, and the 5-meter cable it came with was a good solution (hooks, screws, etc. are not included).
The camera has many options for remote control (full rotational movement from your mobile phone, speaker and microphone, night vision or opening the projector for regular light at night, it takes a micro SD for storage (microSDXC 128GB Class 10 U3 V30 UHS-I is recommended), which you can view from your phone but also through the cloud, although this is an extra payment service).
Here we must mention that the storage is done through the motion detection system, meaning that as soon as it detects the slightest movement, it sends a notification to the phone through the app, and the alarm with the red-blue lights goes off. The problem is that even at the lowest sensitivity, it doesn't have resolution for humans, but it triggers even for the movement of leaves in the air, which forced us to remove the alarm and just receive long notifications, with the only observation being that if the notifications are continuous, then it must be something other than the wind, and this is perhaps the most significant drawback.
Other than that, it is a very satisfactory price and features ratio, with the condition that you have someone with basic knowledge of smartphones and connecting more demanding gadgets.
Η αγορά έγινε για κατοικία εκτός Αθηνών σε μέρος του οποίου δεν υπάρχει γραμμή τηλεφώνου συνεπώς ψάχναμε κάτι που να συνδέεται είτε σε router με sim είτε να έπερνε η ίδια η κάμερα sim και να μπορούμε να έχουμε κάποια live εικόνα σε περίπτωση που θα λείπαμε. Τελικά δεν καταφέραμε να την συνδέσουμε με το router και δεν μας φάνηκε πολύ εύκολη η διαδικασία ωστόσο μας έλυσε τα χέρια η θέση για sim της κάμερας.
Η τοποθέτηση της κάμερας ήταν αρκετά εύκολη με την βάση που παρέχει αλλά το ηλιακό πάνελ θέλει κάποια επιπλέον grover. Δεν το συνδέσαμε απευθείας μιας και θέλαμε να του δώσουμε καλύτερη επαφή με τον ήλιο και το καλώδιο 5 μέτρον που περιείχε ήταν αρκετά καλή λύση (ούπες, βίδες κλπ πάρτε δικά σας).
Η κάμερα έχει αρκετά πολλές επιλογές για χειρισμό από μακριά (πλήρη περιστροφική κίνηση από το κινητό σας, ηχείο και μικρόφωνο, βραδινή λήψη ή άνοιγμα του προβολέα για κανονικό φως το βράδυ, παίρνει sd micro για αποθήκευση (συνιστάται microSDXC 128GB Class 10 U3 V30 UHS-I) τα οποία μπορείς να τα δεις από το κινητό αλλά και cloud ωστόσο είναι κατόπιν extra πληρωμής).
Εδώ πρέπει να πούμε ότι η αποθήκευση γίνεται με το σύστημα αναγνώρισης κίνησης δηλαδή μόλις ανιχνεύσει την παραμικρή κίνηση στέλνει ειδοποίηση στο κινητό μέσω της εφαρμογής αλλά χτυπάει και ο συναγερμός που έχει με τα κόκκινα-μπλέ φώτα. Το πρόβλημα είναι ότι και στην πιο χαμηλή ευαισθησία δεν έχει ανάλυση για ανθρώπους αλλά χτυπάει μέχρι και στην κίνηση τον φύλλων από τον αέρα και αυτό μας ανάγκασε να βγάλουμε τον συναγερμό και να το αφήσουμε απλά να μας στέλνει κατεβατές ειδοποιήσεις με την μοναδική παρατήρηση ότι αν οι ειδοποιήσεις είναι συνεχόμενες τότε πρέπει να είναι κάτι άλλο πέρα από τον αέρα και αυτό είναι ίσως το πιο σημαντικό μείον της.
Κατά τα άλλα είναι μια πολύ ικανοποιητική σχέση τιμή και παροχών με την προϋπόθεση ότι έχετε κάποιον που θα έχει βασικές γνώσης από smartphone και σύνδεσης λίγο πιο απαιτητικών gadgets.
