Analog

Analog sphygmomanometers consist of a cuff, a bulb, a manometer, and a stethoscope. They operate on a spring and require the user to have very good hearing in order to hear the pressure grading on the stethoscope. For this reason, they are more difficult to use than digital sphygmomanometers and are mainly preferred by doctors and nurses. They are considered accurate, very economical, and easy to transport.
