A great positive is that the length is adjustable, so it can fit in small and large kitchens/countertops. I have placed a small espresso machine on the shelf, along with other kitchen utensils, and it has no problem with the weight. This is expected, as it is made of metal. It also provides hooks on the sides of the base, which can hold towels, spoons, etc. Overall, it is worth it and I would recommend it.
