The Rel Acoustics HT/1205 MKII sets new standards in the category of affordable home theater subwoofers. Equipped with an upgraded 12-inch CarbonGlas driver and a powerful 500W RMS NextGen5 Class D amplifier, it delivers an instantaneous response and deep bass down to 22Hz. It features an elegant cabinet with a 5-layer black lacquer finish on the top panel, PerfectFilters™ analog filters to eliminate distortion, and wireless connectivity with the optional HT-Air system.

Powerful 12" CarbonGlas Driver

The HT/1205 MKII features an upgraded 12" (300mm) CarbonGlas™ long-throw driver with a carbon-fibre centre dome. The combination of fibreglass and carbon fibre delivers exceptional rigidity and low weight. Enhanced with more powerful magnets and an upgraded suspension, it produces instant, deep bass with a response down to 22Hz (-6dB).

NextGen5 Class D 500W Amplifier

The built-in NextGen5 Class D amplifier delivers 500W RMS of continuous power, with MOSFET modules rated at 800W to ensure ample current reserves. The PerfectFilters™ analog circuits feature a fast crossover, a subsonic filter starting at 8Hz, and built-in limiters, delivering high volume without distortion.

Premium Design & Wireless Connectivity

The bespoke cabinet features a 15 mm top panel finished with 5 coats of piano black lacquer to dampen vibrations. It is also compatible with the optional HT-Air™ 5.8 GHz wireless system, which transmits the LFE signal without digital compression over distances of up to 18 metres.
