The House of Piranesi is not an ordinary house: endless corridors, countless rooms, thousands of statues, each different from the others.

The upper levels are covered with clouds and an entire ocean regularly floods the lower rooms of the labyrinthine House.

Piranesi does not get discouraged: methodically observing the tide, he measures time based on its periodicity. He tirelessly explores the labyrinth of the House and records its contents. It is his life's work.

But he is not the only person in the House; there is the Other. The Other visits twice a week and is updated on the progress of the research.

However, when the research reveals the existence of another person, a new, terrifying reality begins to emerge; the reality of another world, beyond the one Piranesi knew.
