A useful accessory for eging is the Sinker which allows us to increase the sinking rate of our squid jig in order to tackle strong currents or fishing at great depths.

It is a lead weight with a special shape that attaches to the "nose" of the squid jig and does not significantly affect its swimming and sinking angle while also responding very well to jerks.

Its weight is 5gr, and not by chance, because only with these grams can you successfully fish during the Mediterranean tide. A little heavier disrupts the swimming (and thus the efficiency), and a little lighter... the currents win!

The Sinker is not just suitable for Egido squid jigs but can be used with all your squid jigs!
