If we ignore the noise, whatever grind size I have used in the two months that I have been using it, it has cut it satisfactorily, bringing out the aromas of their description. I have not tried it for anything other than espresso. It is not single dose, which means that either you will be playing with the tongue with your hand so that the beans do not jump or you will be filling the container, which I do not recommend because the coffee beans easily absorb moisture. It has a button to press with the portafilter, which means that you definitely need a scale to measure your dose to be consistent every time.
