Professional 4K UHD Camcorder, Compact Size
Capture stunning footage in 4K UHD and top-quality Full HD images thanks to the 1/2.3" type 4K CMOS sensor and the DIGIC DV6 image processor. The HD Oversampling processing ensures Full HD images from the 4K sensor.
4K Lens with 20x Optical Zoom
The Canon lens covers focal lengths from wide-angle 29.3mm (equivalent to 35mm) to powerful zoom 612mm, with Dynamic image stabilization. The digital zoom reaches up to 800x with 5-axis image stabilization.
Fast Precision Focusing with Face Detection
The adjustable focus speeds and advanced Hybrid AF system offer fast precision focusing. Use the 3.5" LCD screen to set the focus by touching the AF point you want. When Manual focus is set via the focus/zoom ring, Face Detection AF and Face Tracking AF functions are available.
XF-AVC and MP4 for flexible recording
Choose between XF-AVC and MP4 recording formats. Capture XF-AVC 4K UHD 160Mbps footage at 25P, as well as Full HD 45Mbps at 50P/50i/25P. For smaller files, capture MP4 4K 150Mbps at 25P and Full HD 35Mbps or 17Mbps at 50P/25P.
Multiple Shooting Modes
Output options include simultaneous backup and relay recording via two SD cards, as well as Infrared mode. For specialized shots, capture Slow Motion in Full HD 0.5x or Fast Motion in 4K/Full HD up to 1200x. Adjust colors to match those of other Canon cameras through the image customization menu.
Live Streaming
Stream HD footage via UVC1 to a computer or add date and time display with OSD recording. The two XLR ports on the detachable handle and the 4-channel linear PCM provide professional audio options.
