The Oakley 99505MP-24J helmet is designed for skiing and snowboarding, featuring a hard-shell construction and a Hi-EPS core that absorbs impacts. The MIPS system includes a low-friction layer that allows the helmet to move relative to the head and may reduce harmful forces transmitted to the brain in certain impacts. The fit is adjustable with the BOA® 360 FIT system, while the FIDLOCK® magnetic buckle makes fastening easy while wearing gloves.

The vents on the top circulate air and help prevent heat buildup. The helmet is compatible with goggles, allowing warm air to flow from the goggles through the vent at the brim. The inner lining and ear pads are removable, and the lining is machine washable.
