What can you say about this machine? It does everything, even with 8GB RAM like mine, without any problem and with minimal swap memory. My usage is browsing, YouTube, Netflix, and light photo & video editing. You need to know before you buy it what you want to use it for—obviously, anyone dealing with heavy tasks shouldn't get 8GB RAM.

The disk is relatively slow but okay. The biggest problem (besides MacOS) is that it has an issue with the wifi. After a while, it starts to lag with high ping (I tested it with 2 different 5G APs). However, it is very small, quiet, and stable (except for the wifi) with decent speed.

The Satechi accessory, a USB hub that perfectly fits as a base, solved my problems in this case.
The built-in speaker is terrible to the point where I don't even notice its existence. The absence of a microphone and camera is a downside, partially fixed by using an iPhone (for those who have one) which works seamlessly with the Mac mini for USB tethering and file, page, and other exchanges.
An extra feature is the Screen Mirror, which works without lag! This allows me to turn my iPhone into a gaming console on the Mac mini with the addition of an Xbox controller!
One of the USB-C ports provides both video and high-speed HDMI, with 4K resolution (I think it even supports up to 6K, but I'm not entirely sure), as well as touch input for compatible panels!
The speed of the machine is excessive for my needs, and Apple will support it with upgrades for the coming years. Its compatibility with other Apple devices such as the iPhone and iPad enhances the user experience and facilitates seamless integration between devices.
It has never overheated, even after intense use for gaming at full graphics or video editing, rendering, and exporting. I don't even know how the fan sounds.
I should also mention its portability, with a smaller footprint than a laptop, a height roughly equivalent to two laptops, a power cable, and a display cable. With a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, everything fits in a small bag and you can take it wherever you want (as long as there is power and a screen). In my case, I have an external battery panel with USB-C and a Powerstation 220v socket, so I occasionally turn it into a laptop.
With the moves Apple is making, it will dominate the computer, mobile, tablet, and smartwatch categories in the near future. Microsoft will focus on gaming, and Sony will be acquired by Nintendo?

Δεν έχει ανεβάσει ποτέ θερμοκρασία ακόμα και μετά από σκληρή χρήση παιχνιδιών στα FULL γραφικά ή σε βίντεο edit render export, δεν ξερω καν πως ακούγεται ο ανεμιστήρας του.
Να πω και για τη φορητοτητα του, με μέγεθος μικρότερου εμβαδού από λαπτοπ, ύψος όσο περίπου δύο λαπτοπ, ένα καλώδιο τροφοδοσία και ένα εικόνας, ποντίκι πληκτρολόγιο BT, χωράνε όλα σε ένα μικρό τσαντάκι και το πας όπου θες (αρκεί να υπάρχει ρεύμα και οθόνη). I was looking for a PC for video editing at a reasonable price. For its price, it is perfect, but it is not for gaming. You can comfortably edit 4k60 videos (I have tested it up to this resolution). I use DaVinci Resolve (free) without any issues. The ecosystem works perfectly (continuity camera with iPhone 13 mini, sidecar with iPad 2019 as a wireless or wired second screen). The hard drive has about 230GB of free space and the ports are limited. Of course, there are hubs for extra ports and external SSDs. Completely silent and space-saving. At 640 euros and for the purpose I want it for, I believe it is unbeatable.
Έψαχνα για ένα pc για video editing σε λογική τιμή. Για τα χρήματα του είναι τέλειο αλλά δεν είναι για gaming. επεξεργάζεσαι άνετα 4k60 video (μέχρι αυτή την ανάλυση έχω δοκιμάσει). Χρησιμοποιώ το DaVinci Resolve (δωρεάν) χωρίς κανένα θέμα. Το οικοσύστημα δουλεύει τέλεια (continuity camera με iPhone 13 mini, sidecar με iPad 2019 ως δεύτερη οθόνη ασύρματα ή ενσυρματα. Ο σκληρός είναι στα 230gb free περιπου και οι θύρες περιορισμένες. Υπάρχουν βέβαια hub για εξτρα θύρες και external ssd. Αθόρυβο τελείως και δεν πιάνει χώρο. Στα 640 ευρώ και για την χρήση που το θέλω πιστεύω ειναι χωρίς ανταγωνισμό.

Transition from a powerful Windows machine with audio/photo/video editing. I have no words. It doesn't lag anywhere. It doesn't overheat, it doesn't freeze, it's completed with the Satechi docking station. The only downside is the minimal USB A & C ports, AND IT HAS THEM AT THE BACK. Anyway, it's worth it.
It's a great tool, you just need time to get used to it if you're coming from Windows. Don't give up on it.

I have plenty of experience with Apple computers as I have twelve machines in my office that are mainly used by graphic and motion designers. It's the first time I tried the Mac mini and I can say that it has exceeded my expectations. The machine is very fast (M2 & 16GB RAM) and quiet. The programs it runs are quite heavy, but it manages them very well, working with at least two of them open simultaneously (for example, After Effects and Photoshop). In terms of performance, I think it's the best one I have in the office right now. On the negative side, you have to buy the rest of the setup (monitor, keyboard), something that Mac users are not used to, but it's worth it. The machine is definitely worth it and can easily last for eight years, and I'm speaking from experience.

Είναι η πρώτη φορά που έκανα τη δοκιμή να πάω σε Mac mini και μπορώ να πω πως έχει ξεπεράσει τις προσδοκίες που είχα. Το μηχάνημα ειναι πολύ γρήγορο (M2 & 16άρα ram) και αθόρυβο. Τα προγράμματα που τρέχει είναι αρκετα βαριά, αλλά τα καταφέρνει πολύ καλά, δουλεύοντας παράλληλα τουλάχιστον δυο απο αυτά πάντα ανοιχτά (για παράδειγμα after effects και photoshop). Σε επιδόσεις νομίζω πως είναι ο καλύτερος που εχω αυτή τη στιγμή στο γραφειο. Στα αρνητικά του, το ότι πρέπει να αγοράσεις και το υπόλοιπο setup (οθονη, πληκτρολόγιο), κάτι που οι mac users δεν έχουμε συνηθίσει, αλλά καλά να πάθουμε . Το μηχάνημα αξίζει και σιγουρα βγάζει άνετα μία 8ετία και μιλάω από εμπειρία.

Owner of the Mac Mini M2 8/256 for a week now, coming from a 15-year history of Windows computers. The first thing you notice and like is the size. Where my midi tower used to annoyingly take up space under my desk, now I have it tucked away at the edge of my desk after doing some cable management, and everything is now clean and organized. +1 for the volume.
Starting with the negatives. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the ports of a regular PC. I bought the Satechi docking station that also has space for an M.2 drive. I've also ordered a 970 EVO 2TB for 120 euros. I know it's an extra 250 euros right off the bat, but the good thing is that the dock fits perfectly under the Mac, and now I can say that I'm comfortable. I also need to buy a keyboard with a Mac layout because my Windows keyboard doesn't fit perfectly.
Now for the positives.
Functional!!! You don't know how convenient it is to take a photo with your phone and see it on your computer right away. To copy an address on your phone and then just right-click and paste it on your computer. To see something on the internet on your phone and send it to your computer to continue reading. To use your phone as a webcam!!! They don't stop there in Cupertino!
It's lightning fast. It opens applications unexpectedly quickly and without any lag no matter how hard I tried to push it. My hobby is photography, and Photoshop runs like a charm. As many tabs as I want on Chrome now, and it doesn't struggle at all.

Κάτοχος του μακ μινι Μ2 8/256 εδώ και μία εβδομάδα προερχόμενος από μια 15ετία υπολογιστών windows. Το πρώτο που παρατηρείς και σου αρέσει είναι το μέγεθος. Εκεί που το midi tower μου έποιανε ενοχλητικά τον χώρο στα πόδια μου κάτω από το γραφείο, τώρα αυτό το έχω πετάξει στην άκρη του γραφείου έκανα και λίγο cable management και όλα τώρα είναι καθαρά και τακτοποιημένα. +1 για τον όγκο.
Ξεκινώντας από τα αρνητικά. Δεν έχει δυστυχώς τις θύρες του Η/Υ. Αγόρασα το docking station της Satechi που έχει χώρο και για ένα δίσκο M.2. Έχω παραγγείλει και έναν 970 EVO 2ΤΒ με 120ε. Το ξέρω οτι είναι έξτρα 250ε με το καλημέρα αλλά το καλό είναι οτι το dock εφαρμόζει τέλεια κάτω από το μακ και τώρα μπορώ να πώ οτι βολεύτηκα. Επίσης πρέπει να αγοράσω και ένα πληκτρολόγιο με mac layout γιατι το windows πληκτρολόγιο που έχω στην κατοχή μου δεν ταιριάζει εντελώς.
Στα θετικά τώρα.
Λειτουργικό!!! Δεν ξέρεις πόσο βολικό είναι να βγάζεις μια φωτό με το κινητό και να την βλέπεις την άλλη στιγμή στον υπολογιστή. Να κάνεις κόπι μια διεύθυνση στο κινητό και μετά απλά δεξί κλικ και πέηστ στον υπολογιστή. Να βλέπεις κάτι στο ίντερνετ στο κινητό και να το στέλνεις στον υπολογιστή για να συνεχίσεις να διαβάζεις. Να χρησιμοποιείς το κινητό σαν web κάμερα!!! Δεν έχουν σταματημό εκεί στο Κουπερτίνο!
Είναι ταχύτατο. Ανοίγει εφαρμογές ανέλπιστα γρήγορα και χωρίς κανένα κόλλημα όσο και να προσπάθησα να το πιέσω. Το χόμπι μου είναι φωτογραφίες και το φοτοσοπ πάει σφαίρα. Καρτέλες στον chrome όσες θέλω πλέον και δεν ζορίζεται καθόλου.

One of the USB-C ports provides both video and high-speed HDMI, with 4K resolution (I think it even supports up to 6K, but I'm not entirely sure), as well as touch input for compatible panels!
The speed of the machine is excessive for my needs, and Apple will support it with upgrades for the coming years. Its compatibility with other Apple devices such as the iPhone and iPad enhances the user experience and facilitates seamless integration between devices.
It has never overheated, even after intense use for gaming at full graphics or video editing, rendering, and exporting. I don't even know how the fan sounds.
I should also mention its portability, with a smaller footprint than a laptop, a height roughly equivalent to two laptops, a power cable, and a display cable. With a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, everything fits in a small bag and you can take it wherever you want (as long as there is power and a screen). What can you say about this machine? It does everything, even with 8GB RAM like mine, without any problem and with minimal swap memory. My usage is browsing, YouTube, Netflix, and light photo & video editing. You need to know before you buy it what you want to use it for—obviously, anyone dealing with heavy tasks shouldn't get 8GB RAM.

The disk is relatively slow but okay. The biggest problem (besides MacOS) is that it has an issue with the wifi. After a while, it starts to lag with high ping (I tested it with 2 different 5G APs). However, it is very small, quiet, and stable (except for the wifi) with decent speed.

Fantastic machine! However, I had an issue with the warranty. It showed that the warranty expires in 3 months. It seemed very strange to me because I bought it brand new from a store here in Scroutz. Fortunately, I contacted Apple by phone and they fixed the issue for me.

I was looking for a PC for video editing at a reasonable price. For its price, it is perfect, but it is not for gaming. You can comfortably edit 4k60 videos (I have tested it up to this resolution). I use DaVinci Resolve (free) without any issues. The ecosystem works perfectly (continuity camera with iPhone 13 mini, sidecar with iPad 2019 as a wireless or wired second screen). The hard drive has about 230GB of free space and the ports are limited. Of course, there are hubs for extra ports and external SSDs. Completely silent and space-saving. At 640 euros and for the purpose I want it for, I believe it is unbeatable.
Έψαχνα για ένα pc για video editing σε λογική τιμή. Για τα χρήματα του είναι τέλειο αλλά δεν είναι για gaming. επεξεργάζεσαι άνετα 4k60 video (μέχρι αυτή την ανάλυση έχω δοκιμάσει). Χρησιμοποιώ το DaVinci Resolve (δωρεάν) χωρίς κανένα θέμα. Το οικοσύστημα δουλεύει τέλεια (continuity camera με iPhone 13 mini, sidecar με iPad 2019 ως δεύτερη οθόνη ασύρματα ή ενσυρματα. Ο σκληρός είναι στα 230gb free περιπου και οι θύρες περιορισμένες. Υπάρχουν βέβαια hub για εξτρα θύρες και external ssd. Αθόρυβο τελείως και δεν πιάνει χώρο. Στα 640 ευρώ και για την χρήση που το θέλω πιστεύω ειναι χωρίς ανταγωνισμό.

Transition from a powerful Windows machine with audio/photo/video editing. I have no words. It doesn't lag anywhere. It doesn't overheat, it doesn't freeze, it's completed with the Satechi docking station. The only downside is the minimal USB A & C ports, AND IT HAS THEM AT THE BACK. Anyway, it's worth it.
It's a great tool, you just need time to get used to it if you're coming from Windows. Don't give up on it.

I have plenty of experience with Apple computers as I have twelve machines in my office that are mainly used by graphic and motion designers. It's the first time I tried the Mac mini and I can say that it has exceeded my expectations. The machine is very fast (M2 & 16GB RAM) and quiet. The programs it runs are quite heavy, but it manages them very well, working with at least two of them open simultaneously (for example, After Effects and Photoshop). In terms of performance, I think it's the best one I have in the office right now. On the negative side, you have to buy the rest of the setup (monitor, keyboard), something that Mac users are not used to, but it's worth it. The machine is definitely worth it and can easily last for eight years, and I'm speaking from experience.

Είναι η πρώτη φορά που έκανα τη δοκιμή να πάω σε Mac mini και μπορώ να πω πως έχει ξεπεράσει τις προσδοκίες που είχα. Το μηχάνημα ειναι πολύ γρήγορο (M2 & 16άρα ram) και αθόρυβο. Τα προγράμματα που τρέχει είναι αρκετα βαριά, αλλά τα καταφέρνει πολύ καλά, δουλεύοντας παράλληλα τουλάχιστον δυο απο αυτά πάντα ανοιχτά (για παράδειγμα after effects και photoshop). Σε επιδόσεις νομίζω πως είναι ο καλύτερος που εχω αυτή τη στιγμή στο γραφειο. Στα αρνητικά του, το ότι πρέπει να αγοράσεις και το υπόλοιπο setup (οθονη, πληκτρολόγιο), κάτι που οι mac users δεν έχουμε συνηθίσει, αλλά καλά να πάθουμε . Το μηχάνημα αξίζει και σιγουρα βγάζει άνετα μία 8ετία και μιλάω από εμπειρία.

Owner of the Mac Mini M2 8/256 for a week now, coming from a 15-year history of Windows computers. The first thing you notice and like is the size. Where my midi tower used to annoyingly take up space under my desk, now I have it tucked away at the edge of my desk after doing some cable management, and everything is now clean and organized. +1 for the volume.
Starting with the negatives. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the ports of a regular PC. I bought the Satechi docking station that also has space for an M.2 drive. I've also ordered a 970 EVO 2TB for 120 euros. I know it's an extra 250 euros right off the bat, but the good thing is that the dock fits perfectly under the Mac, and now I can say that I'm comfortable. I also need to buy a keyboard with a Mac layout because my Windows keyboard doesn't fit perfectly.
Now for the positives.
Functional!!! You don't know how convenient it is to take a photo with your phone and see it on your computer right away. To copy an address on your phone and then just right-click and paste it on your computer. To see something on the internet on your phone and send it to your computer to continue reading. To use your phone as a webcam!!! They don't stop there in Cupertino!
It's lightning fast. It opens applications unexpectedly quickly and without any lag no matter how hard I tried to push it. My hobby is photography, and Photoshop runs like a charm. As many tabs as I want on Chrome now, and it doesn't struggle at all.

Κάτοχος του μακ μινι Μ2 8/256 εδώ και μία εβδομάδα προερχόμενος από μια 15ετία υπολογιστών windows. Το πρώτο που παρατηρείς και σου αρέσει είναι το μέγεθος. Εκεί που το midi tower μου έποιανε ενοχλητικά τον χώρο στα πόδια μου κάτω από το γραφείο, τώρα αυτό το έχω πετάξει στην άκρη του γραφείου έκανα και λίγο cable management και όλα τώρα είναι καθαρά και τακτοποιημένα. +1 για τον όγκο.
Ξεκινώντας από τα αρνητικά. Δεν έχει δυστυχώς τις θύρες του Η/Υ. Αγόρασα το docking station της Satechi που έχει χώρο και για ένα δίσκο M.2. Έχω παραγγείλει και έναν 970 EVO 2ΤΒ με 120ε. Το ξέρω οτι είναι έξτρα 250ε με το καλημέρα αλλά το καλό είναι οτι το dock εφαρμόζει τέλεια κάτω από το μακ και τώρα μπορώ να πώ οτι βολεύτηκα. Επίσης πρέπει να αγοράσω και ένα πληκτρολόγιο με mac layout γιατι το windows πληκτρολόγιο που έχω στην κατοχή μου δεν ταιριάζει εντελώς.

Λειτουργικό!!! Δεν ξέρεις πόσο βολικό είναι να βγάζεις μια φωτό με το κινητό και να την βλέπεις την άλλη στιγμή στον υπολογιστή. Να κάνεις κόπι μια διεύθυνση στο κινητό και μετά απλά δεξί κλικ και πέηστ στον υπολογιστή. Να βλέπεις κάτι στο ίντερνετ στο κινητό και να το στέλνεις στον υπολογιστή για να συνεχίσεις να διαβάζεις. Να χρησιμοποιείς το κινητό σαν web κάμερα!!! Δεν έχουν σταματημό εκεί στο Κουπερτίνο!
Είναι ταχύτατο. Ανοίγει εφαρμογές ανέλπιστα γρήγορα και χωρίς κανένα κόλλημα όσο και να προσπάθησα να το πιέσω. Το χόμπι μου είναι φωτογραφίες και το φοτοσοπ πάει σφαίρα. Καρτέλες στον chrome όσες θέλω πλέον και δεν ζορίζεται καθόλου.
Θα επανέλθω με περισσότερα.

What can you say about this machine? It does everything, even with 8GB RAM like mine, without any problem and with minimal swap memory. My usage is browsing, YouTube, Netflix, and light photo & video editing. You need to know before you buy it what you want to use it for—obviously, anyone dealing with heavy tasks shouldn't get 8GB RAM.
Τι να πεις για αυτό το μηχανημα? Κανείς τα πάντα ακόμα και με 8gb ram οπως το δικο μου χωρις κανενα προβλημα και swap memory ελαχιστη. Η χρηση που κανω ειναι browsing YouTube Netflix και ελαφρυ photo & video editing. Πρεπει να ξερεις πριν το αγορασεις για τι χρηση το θες εννοειται οποιος ασχολειται με βαρια πραγματα δεν παιρνει 8gb ram.

The disk is relatively slow but okay. The biggest problem (besides MacOS) is that it has an issue with the wifi. After a while, it starts to lag with high ping (I tested it with 2 different 5G APs). However, it is very small, quiet, and stable (except for the wifi) with decent speed.
Ο δίσκος του είναι σχετικά αργός αλλά οκ. Το μεγαλύτερο πρόβλημα (εκτός του MacOS) είναι ότι με το wifi έχει πρόβλημα. Μετά από λίγο αρχίζει και σέρνεται με υψηλό ping(το δοκίμασα με 2 διαφορετικά 5αρια AP). Είναι όμως πολύ μικρο, αθόρυβο και σταθερότατο (εκτός του wifi) με αρκετά καλή ταχύτητα.

Not upgradeable, few USB-A and USB-C ports, all unfortunately located on the back side.
The Satechi accessory, a USB hub that perfectly fits as a base, solved my problems in this case.
The built-in speaker is terrible to the point where I don't even notice its existence. The absence of a microphone and camera is a downside, partially fixed by using an iPhone (for those who have one) which works seamlessly with the Mac mini for USB tethering and file, page, and other exchanges.
An extra feature is the Screen Mirror, which works without lag! This allows me to turn my iPhone into a gaming console on the Mac mini with the addition of an Xbox controller!
One of the USB-C ports provides both video and high-speed HDMI, with 4K resolution (I think it even supports up to 6K, but I'm not entirely sure), as well as touch input for compatible panels!
The speed of the machine is excessive for my needs, and Apple will support it with upgrades for the coming years. Its compatibility with other Apple devices such as the iPhone and iPad enhances the user experience and facilitates seamless integration between devices.
It has never overheated, even after intense use for gaming at full graphics or video editing, rendering, and exporting. I don't even know how the fan sounds.
I should also mention its portability, with a smaller footprint than a laptop, a height roughly equivalent to two laptops, a power cable, and a display cable. With a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, everything fits in a small bag and you can take it wherever you want (as long as there is power and a screen). In my case, I have an external battery panel with USB-C and a Powerstation 220v socket, so I occasionally turn it into a laptop.
With the moves Apple is making, it will dominate the computer, mobile, tablet, and smartwatch categories in the near future. Microsoft will focus on gaming, and Sony will be acquired by Nintendo?
Η βασική έκδοση με τα 8Giga ddr5 (unified) RAM, την 10πυρηνη (unified) GPU και τον (αργό unified) 256αρη δίσκο NVme, πατάει κάτω για πλάκα οποιαδήποτε υλοποίηση του ανταγωνισμού και ξεφεύγει από τα δεδομένα ενός μίνι σε διαστάσεις μηχανήματος και απόδοσης.
Μή αναβαθμισημο, λίγες θύρες usbA και usbC, όλες δυστυχώς τοποθετημένες στην πίσω πλευρά.
Το αξεσουάρ της Satechi ένα usb hub που ταιριάζει απόλυτα σαν βάση μου έλυσε τα χέρια στην περίπτωση αυτή.
Σάπιο ενσωματωμένο ηχείο, σε σημείο που δεν αντιλαμβάνομαι την ύπαρξή του. Απουσία μικροφώνου και κάμερας είναι στα κατά του, διορθώνεται εν μέρη με την χρήση iphone (για όσους κατέχουν) το οποίο συνεργάζεται άψογα και απροβληματιστα με το Μακμινι για usb tethering και ανταλλαγή αρχείων, σελίδων και άλλων.
Εξτρα είναι το Screen Mirror το οποίο λειτουργεί χωρίς λαγκ! με αποτέλεσμα να κάνω το iphone παιχνιδομηχανη στο Μακμινι με προσθήκη ΧΒΟΧ κοντρόλ!
Η μία USB-c δίνει και εικόνα, εκτός από την high speed HDMI που διαθέτει, με ανάλυση 4κ (νομίζω βγάζει Μαξ 6Κ αλλά δεν είμαι απόλυτα σίγουρος) αλλά και Touch αφή για πάνελ που υποστηρίζουν!
Η ταχύτητα του μηχανήματος είναι υπερβολική για τα δεδομένα μου, η Apple θα υποστηρίζει με αναβαθμίσεις για τα επομενα χρόνια, η συνεργασία του με άλλες συσκευές της APPLE όπως iphone και iPadς εκτοξεύει την εμπειρία χρήσης και διευκόλυνσης μεταξύ συσκευών.
Δεν έχει ανεβάσει ποτέ θερμοκρασία ακόμα και μετά από σκληρή χρήση παιχνιδιών στα FULL γραφικά ή σε βίντεο edit render export, δεν ξερω καν πως ακούγεται ο ανεμιστήρας του.
Να πω και για τη φορητοτητα του, με μέγεθος μικρότερου εμβαδού από λαπτοπ, ύψος όσο περίπου δύο λαπτοπ, ένα καλώδιο τροφοδοσία και ένα εικόνας, ποντίκι πληκτρολόγιο BT, χωράνε όλα σε ένα μικρό τσαντάκι και το πας όπου θες (αρκεί να υπάρχει ρεύμα και οθόνη). Στην περίπτωση μου έχω εξωτερικό πάνελ μπαταριας με usbc και Powerstation 220v sucko οπότε το κάνω και λαπτοπ" ενίοτε.
Η APPLE με τις κινήσεις που κάνει θα κυριαρχήσει στο άμεσο μέλλον στις κατηγορίες κομπιούτερ, κινητό, ταμπλετ, ρολόγια, η Microsoft θα επικεντρωθεί στο gaming και η Sony θα εξαγοραστεί από τη Nintendo ?
