Asphalt adhesive is an important product used in the application of roofing tiles.
- IKO mastics allow work in areas with strong winds, on slopes steeper than 60°, and in cooler weather conditions.
- All IKO mastics are 100% compatible with IKO asphalt roofing.
- Additional asphalt mastic should be added when asphalt tiles are installed in very windy areas.
- IKO also recommends sealing the tiles with additional asphalt mastic/adhesive in winter.
- Avoid using any other brand of asphalt mastic in combination with asphalt roofing tiles.
