The Ovation 1516SSM-G electro-acoustic guitar features a thermally treated solid spruce top and a mid-depth Lyrachord® body with no cutaway. Its construction includes Scalloped X-Bracing and a central soundhole.

The neck is made from two pieces of Khaya, while the fingerboard and bridge are made from Indian laurel. The “Fleur de nuit” design decorates the rosette and 12th fret, and the UV finish is ultra-thin with a metallic effect.
