The second edition of this book updates and complements the first.
The introductory chapter has taken into account the legislative developments that have occurred in the meantime and the bibliographical notes concerning the IKE. A sample charter has been added, carefully prepared by Lawyer Mr. Evangelos Kourakis, to whom I extend my heartfelt thanks.
The author had the idea to include the text of Law 4072/2012 relating to the IKE translated into English. This reflects the outward-facing nature of the IKE and the need for a better understanding of the new corporate form beyond Greece.
The responsibility for the translation rests with the author, but warm thanks are due to the Lawyers Ms. Irini Anyfantis and Ms. Katerina Chaniotaki for their assistance. Thanks - always - to the Law Library and Ms. Marina Tsikouri for their reliable editing.
