One of the worst purchases. Okay, it's easy to use when there are two people and you quickly grill 2 steaks to make something quick. However, in the two years I've had it, within the first year the safety latch shown in the photo broke, because obviously it doesn't close properly on its own. It's not a matter of squareness or misuse, as some might claim, but a design issue.

We took it to the dealership and they repaired it under warranty, because THEY KNOW THE PROBLEM and it's very common.

Within another year of use, it broke again. Seriously now?
The replacement part costs €100, while you can find a new one for €110. Come on guys, get serious.

First of all, I will not judge it as a fryer because it is not a fryer. It is a mini tabletop, portable oven that does exactly what an air oven does in a much better atmosphere.

Given that, I am completely satisfied because I saved time preparing the oven for small meals and single servings, cleaning, the process of putting in and taking out the tray, leaving it open to cool down, and all related tasks. Plus, you save electricity in proportion to the time. Overall, it is a very good investment. I am satisfied, and it has opened up a new field of experimentation in cooking for me.

The quality of Philips is very good for such devices, and I was pleased when I opened it and noticed how sturdy it is as a device. Even better, you don't hear the plastic when it heats up and then cools down.

The hydrophobic tray inside does not retain any oil and is really easy to clean.

Purchase date 15/01/2024, the reason I chose this fryer was for the WI-FI. I haven't used it yet, the first thing I did when I opened it was to connect it to the app to manage it through my phone, but it doesn't connect, it's the worst purchase I made!!! I wasted my money, as for the rest, I believe most fryers do the same job, frying without oil, etc. By the way, I wrote the same review to PHILLIPS, but because it's negative, they sent me an email with a virus for confirmation, which means I can't publish it

It worked 3 times and then stopped. I took it to an authorized service center and from there to a dealership because they couldn't repair it. Eventually, it had faulty circuit boards, which were not replaced but repaired after over a month of waiting and many phone calls. It's not worth buying something expensive because they are all exactly the same, with the same mechanism and the same spare parts. Everything is made in 2-3 factories in China. Choose based on capacity and not on the brand and price. You pay for the brand, not the quality.

2000 watts for 38 minutes potatoes somewhere we have lost it, impractical and even if it does wonders I will not pay the electricity bill, my worst purchase.

The fryer is very convenient, especially the mobile function. You need a few tests to find the cooking times for each food, but you can save them in the app and send them for execution to the machine. The food becomes nicely crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside
