The dehumidifier R-91220 Genius² is ideal for spaces of 120 m². It has a moisture collection capacity of 20/24 hours and remote connection via Wi-Fi. It features a dual ionization system combined with a UV-C lamp for sterilization and an independent air purifier function.

Super Ionizer

The R-91220 features a powerful ionization system, releasing over 1.52*106n positive ions per cm³ and 3.35*106n negative ions per cm³. When positive ions meet a negative one, this process will create the energy that can reduce bacteria and convert them into harmless water molecules using a chemical reaction. The excess negative ions can effectively clean the air by removing bacteria from indoor spaces.

This super ionizer combines with an ionizer filter and provides the best possible air cleaning experience.

Powerful sterilization with Ultraviolet lamp type C (UV-C)

The Ultraviolent type C lamp manages to neutralize the viral and bacterial positively charged air with a negative charge, thus offering an absolutely hygienic atmosphere in your space. I don't have it in my house. I have it at my grandma's house and from 60 the humidity went down to 23 very quickly and since then it has never gone above 30 while I have set it to stop at 40 because that is the normal humidity level. The second drawback is that it has made it so difficult for me to connect it to my phone that I gave up.

I bought it to replace a dehumidifier that I bought but lasted just over a year and now it doesn't respond to commands... it was from prktr. Clearly more capabilities, I hope it lasts... I have placed it outside the doors of three rooms, a living room that is about 25+ sqm, and two bedrooms, each about 15 sqm. I estimate the hallway where it is placed to be about 5 sqm... It reduces the humidity from 69 to 55 in about an hour, maybe even less. Then I activate the night mode function and it maintains the humidity at 54 throughout the day. The temperature without using a heater can rise to 21 degrees in all three rooms. Also, the feeling of the environmental space in terms of the quality of the inhaled air is clearly improved compared to the areas that are excluded from the dehumidifier.
P.S. I made several attempts at the beginning to activate the WiFi through the application and I didn't succeed

- Insufficient instructions in Greek

In the open space on the ground floor (often with 65+ humidity), it can manage to reduce the humidity from 70+ to about 60. However, I cannot blame the device because there is generally external air inflow from multiple places.

In other rooms and spaces, it quickly lowers the humidity to desired levels, comfortably around 50%.

The purchase was mainly made because of the price, capabilities, and coverage area, not the reviews I read. It has been functioning perfectly in a 95 sq.m top floor apartment for a month now, connected to wifi, UV lamp, everything works flawlessly. The difference in the air quality compared to before is impressive, effortlessly maintaining the desired humidity levels of 55% - 60% without the use of the heater, especially in the northern rooms. I was hesitant as I was ready to buy a more expensive, objectively "honest" dehumidifier. I believe that you won't find a dehumidifier with similar capabilities for this price. Genius 2 with Ionizer, WIFI, UV lamp, coverage area of 120 sq.m, purchased for 216 euros.

I read that it is relatively quiet or that it is subjective whether everyone can hear it. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of buying it. Even though I have been in a quiet house where the existing dehumidifier could not be heard (I won't mention the brand to avoid advertising), I was convinced by the advantages of the Rohnson Genius and decided to buy it. From the first day, it impressed me, but I thought, let's not be negative. Unfortunately, I can now speak about a lot of NOISE! There is no way it can function with the TV on, even when I wear headphones at night to avoid disturbing neighboring apartments... and of course, I can't leave it running at night even though it is far away from the bedroom. Additionally, it creaks in normal operation. I recorded the noise, and it is truly impressive how loud it is! I was really disappointed with my money, especially after visiting the company's service department, where they assured me that all dehumidifiers make noise to some extent... I wish you happy holidays and in general, let's listen to these specific machines before we spend money.

Very good, although I didn't have a dehumidifier before this one to have a comparison measure. The noise is normal, I have it for a room that has humidity issues, but so far it keeps the whole 90sqm house at 50-65% humidity levels. I haven't tried the ionizer since we don't have any issues. I also noticed that it maintains the house temperature and increases it several times if it operates all day up to half a degree higher. It has a large container that stops automatically when it fills up. It has wifi/child lock. Personally, I have it in full humidity mode, so it runs constantly in the red (we'll see on the electricity bill). One last thing is that you shouldn't open the container while it's operating or on. You have to turn off the dehumidifier to empty the water.

I use it in a 65 square meter space. In general, compared to a Delonghi I had, it is quieter. Usually, all compressors make noise when they are operating, which is very normal. As for the build quality, I would like the finish to be better. As for vibrations, it doesn't have any so far, at least I will mention it if something happens. The user instructions, which have been translated from English to Greek, are not as understandable, but in the end, you will figure it out.

Now, as for the WiFi, it is easy to connect. There is a separate manual and you can see the real-time temperature and humidity levels in your home or office through the application. It has a complete functional menu without being tiring. The reason I bought it is that besides being a dehumidifier, it also has an air purifier. It has a UV-C sterilization lamp and accepts a separate activated carbon filter, which is not included in the package. As for the 5-year warranty, I consider it very fair.
