The MotionCam (PhOD) Jeweller is a wireless motion detector with a built-in camera that provides photographic confirmation for faster alarm assessment. The device can send the first photo in just 9 seconds, allowing users and security companies to immediately check the situation on site and reduce false alarms and unnecessary patrols.

Photographic Confirmation

Photographic confirmation is available through multiple methods: photo on alarm, photo on demand, photo on scenario, photo on schedule, and photo on arm/disarm. HDR technology and the CMOS sensor ensure clear and detailed images even in challenging lighting conditions.

With Horizontal Field 88.5°

Motion detection is carried out with a PIR sensor, featuring a horizontal field of 88.5° and a detection range of up to 12 meters at an installation height of 2.4 m. The device has three sensitivity levels, a SmartDetect algorithm to avoid false alarms, and temperature compensation for reliable detection at temperatures from −10°C to +40°C.

Security and Tamper Protection

Security and protection against sabotage include tamper alarm, notifications for detachment attempts, and protection against spoofing through device identification. Communication is carried out via the secure Jeweller and Wings protocols with two-way transmission, encryption, and frequency hopping to avoid interference.

    I thought that you could set up a scenario where it takes a photo and sends it when a contact opens, even without the alarm being armed. This cannot be done. For example, I wanted it to send me a photo every time someone enters through the front door, without arming the alarm. In the end, it's useless because the alarm has to be violated and triggered for this to happen. I don't understand the usefulness of the scenarios, since if the PIR sees you when it's armed, it will send a photo anyway. That's why I'm deducting one star from my rating. Otherwise, it's a very good product, but overpriced
