I should note that chainsaws are part of the tools for my work. I know a thing or two about them, therefore ;-) .
The Nakayama ec2035 is a
powerful, user-friendly, and reliable electric chainsaw.
Excellent for cutting firewood at home. It does not disturb nearby third parties (neighbors, for example) with two-stroke rattles and howls, nor with exhaust fumes/gasoline vapors. And of course, as an electric tool, it inherently has a complete absence of vibrations.
In my opinion, it is perhaps the best electric chainsaw on the domestic market at 1800 Watts.
For cutting firewood (up to 30cm logs) or for garden tree care. Perhaps even for felling relatively small trees.
Ex-cel-lent!
The advantages:
- Low price.
- Lightweight and flexible construction with quality polymer in the body.
- One of the few electric chainsaws that has a nut and screw regulator for securing the bar and tightening the chain. All the others have the inaccurate and very sensitive "quick/easy" chain tightening system with the plastic "butterfly."
- Massive torque. Special attention if used with a "yellow" chain, meaning without anti-kickback protection.
It has enough torque that if it "kicks," it will do so violently.
If there is no extensive experience with chainsaws, it is better to always use a "green" chain (with anti-kickback protection), like the one included. And we do not forget the unbreakable rule: Maintain the correct body posture, placing it outside the hypothetical trajectory of any "kickback" from the bar. We NEVER stand directly behind or above the chainsaw's bar. The chainsaw always to our right without head or feet above or on either side of the bar. The same applies to horizontal or diagonal cuts.
- Easy cleaning and maintenance.
In two to three minutes, it is spotless and ready for the next use.
- Automatic brake (not mentioned anywhere, but it has)! As soon as the trigger is released, the chain stops instantly - while the motor continues to reduce speed until it comes to a complete stop.
- Accepts chain nut from Stihl.
- Accepts chain gear from electric Bosch (AKE 35 S), which slightly increases chain speed, as it has a slightly larger diameter.
- Ideal oil consumption. Not too little to dry out the chain, nor too much to spill oil around.
- Strong and quality motor with a power of 2.4 hp.

The disadvantages:
- The included hex/straight screwdriver is of low quality.
- The rear handle after ~1.5 tons of firewood cutting was not very kind to the wrist of the right hand. Perhaps due to the angle.
- The included user instructions are... terse, to say the least, and incomplete (e.g., it does not mention the existence of an automatic brake or the type of chain that the chainsaw accepts, namely 3/8" LP 1.3mm 52E / links).
- The included bar is of mediocre quality (it is a rebranded single-pitch Oregon 140SDEA041).
It is recommended to replace it with the "reinforced" triple-pitch Oregon 140SXEA041 or with the quadruple-pitch Tsumura 013ML3 if cutting hard or dry woods frequently or/and if frequent "dips" of the tip of the bar occur (cutting logs with a diameter over 30 cm).
