A cat’s reaction to silvervine may be similar to its reaction to catnip and can be more intense. Cats that do not respond to catnip may respond positively to the sticks, and the effect usually lasts 5–30 minutes. To use, offer the sticks directly to your cat or peel off the outer layer. When the effect wears off, the stick can be broken. To maintain the effect after repeated use, remove the used layer.
