Review this product
  • It’s a beast; so far I’ve emptied the bin 3 times. At 9 sheets at a time it struggles a bit, but it gets the job done. I’ve put in more as well, and when it jams and stops, I use the reverse motion to pull them out and it clears. My main use for it is to shred cardboard boxes so I can put them in for composting in the garden. I cut them into pieces smaller than A4 size and feed them in. From plain single-wall cardboard to the more reinforced double-flute cardboard, with a little pushing of course, but it eats it. I’ve noticed that with cardboard, in the end the internal rollers are cleaner than with paper. I also bought oil from the parent company, to oil the blades every time I empty the bin. So far I’m very satisfied, it hasn’t given me any problems; only the automatic paper feed caused me an issue when I used it once, because the A4 sheets were “stuck” together and it was taking more than 9 sheets at a time, but as I explained, I use manual feeding.
I’ll come back with anything else..
