The IWH-D3T instant water heater from Crown has a maximum power of 3 kW and is suitable for the home, the cottage, or anywhere else you want to have instant and economical hot water. It operates on electric power and is single-phase.
While a classic water heater heats a large amount of water consuming a lot of energy and time, the instant water heater does not have a storage tank and heats only the water that passes through it. Thus, you have hot water only when you need it and only for the amount you use at that moment. This makes it an economical solution with a longer lifespan since there is no accumulation of salts on the resistance and other components.
As long as you have the tap open, you will have hot water, without mixing with cold. A necessary condition for it to work is that the pressure of the incoming cold water is not too low. In cases of lower inlet temperatures in winter and higher in summer, the performance may vary.
It is easily and quickly installed on the kitchen sink and fully replaces the classic faucet. It is easy to use and serves daily needs such as washing hands or dishes.
The adjustment of the outlet water temperature is done analogically and depends on the water flow rate. The maximum temperature it can reach is 45 °C, while the maximum water flow rate reaches up to 3.5 liters per minute. Indicatively, 38-42 °C are the typical degrees for shower use.
