The Insta360 GPS Action Remote controls compatible action cameras remotely via Bluetooth 5.0, allowing you to start and stop recording and adjust settings. It can turn on the camera even when it is powered off. It receives GPS data and stores it on the camera along with videos and photos, so they can be uploaded with location metadata to Google Street View via a smartphone app.
The display shows the clip recording time, battery level, and GPS and Bluetooth connection strength. The remote uses GPS, BeiDou, and GLONASS for location tracking and GPS communication. It is waterproof to 5 m and can be worn in two different strap orientations.
