The Axagon PCEM2-ND PCIe card connects two NVMe M.2 SSDs to a desktop computer, even in motherboards without PCIe bifurcation support. It supports M-key or B+M-key M.2 drives with no capacity limit, and allows the computer to boot from an SSD. Installation is automatic, with no driver installation required.

The rear section of the card can be removed for use in confined spaces; in this configuration, a 22110 SSD cannot be installed. The passive heatsink cools the chip, while heatsinks up to 22 mm wide can be fitted to both M.2 slots. Two LED indicators show connection or data transfer activity.
