    Like all Dr. Martens, it takes breaking in the leather at the beginning... you wear them a little the first few days, applying Vaseline or seal oil on the straps to soften them... in a few days, they are great... comfortable shoes

    Unfortunately, I decided to buy a good brand of shoes that would withstand and they do indeed look very durable, but.... they did not pay any attention to comfort at all. On the first day I used them, they gave me blisters on my feet (they are also heavy but it doesn't bother me that much)!!! For a €100 shoe, the leather should be softer or at least have cushioning in the heel.
    I bought them because I found the equivalent Chinese ones and I liked them so much for walking, but I wanted to find them more durable because their glue is unacceptable and within a year some straps came off (of course, I wore them constantly), I took them to the cobbler and everything is fine.
    A big disappointment for Dr. Martens.
