It does the job it is made for, playing DVDs correctly. I tested it with various DVDs that I have purchased from Amazon UK in the past and recently, and everything works flawlessly. Easy connection, just needs to be connected to a TV with a SCART input. The package also includes the connection cable with the TV, which makes the value for money unbeatable. The presence or absence of subtitles can also be controlled from the remote control with the Subtitle button, especially for this task.
The only negative is that it does not have a display screen on the front, however, you can know the exact time point of the DVD at any moment by pressing the Display button on the remote control, which provides this information, as well as other useful features in a very helpful menu. If this doesn't bother you, it is the best you can get from a DVD Player for this price. The only other negative is that it only has 1 type of output signal, which is the 3 RCA jacks (red, yellow, white). However, it also has a USB port, although I have not used it yet. Other than that, LG is a reliable brand, it will not disappoint you.

It does not connect to all televisions.
On the third television I tried, it connected successfully.
The most important thing is that it supports very few movie files, almost nothing.
Initially, I thought it doesn't play movies at all, as I tried about 15 DVDs and it said it doesn't support video. Then I found an old DVD with a different file type that was over 15 years old, and it played.
A DVD player that I bought a long time ago from the bazaar in Piraeus for 10 euros plays more.

A DVD player that is worth the money. Unfortunately, it doesn't recognize many different file types, and this is an unpleasant problem, but most DVD players don't recognize them either. Specific brands have other compatible file types. The image quality is LG level, more than good. The build quality is satisfactory. It's made of plastic, but it's very reasonable for 30 euros. Luckily, it doesn't make much noise. Choose it if you don't want to get a Blu-ray player that can also play DVDs.

It does not connect to all televisions.
On the third television I tried, it connected successfully.
The most important thing is that it supports very few movie files, almost nothing.
Initially, I thought it doesn't play movies at all, as I tried about 15 DVDs and it said it doesn't support video. Then I found an old DVD with a different file type that was over 15 years old, and it played.
A DVD player that I bought a long time ago from the bazaar in Piraeus for 10 euros plays more.
