Saint Seraphim of Sarov, one of the greatest Saints of our Orthodoxy, lived in Russia about two hundred years ago. His warm heart, which embraced the whole world, was a sweet haven for children!

Saint Seraphim was their friend and supporter in every problem they faced and their miraculous healer in their illnesses. He was the one who taught them that with prayer and absolute trust in God, a person can overcome any difficulty.

Simple, therefore, despite the great glory he experienced, and joyful, despite the sorrows and temptations he faced, he would greet everyone he met with the phrase: Christ is Risen, my joy!
