The Panasonic Eneloop BQ-CC63 charger charges 1 to 8 AA or AAA Ni-MH batteries simultaneously. It monitors each battery individually using Delta V technology and automatically stops charging when complete, with overcharge protection. The 8 LEDs indicate the charging status of each slot.
Charging takes approximately 5 hours for 2000 mAh AA batteries and 3 hours for 800 mAh AAA batteries. It plugs into a wall outlet using the included AC cable.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Users particularly appreciate the fast charging and the ability to charge up to eight AA/AAA batteries at once. The indicator lights show when each battery is fully charged, and several users find the charger efficient and quiet. However, some mention that it heats up during use and does not display the charge level; there are also isolated reports of it failing to charge batteries from other brands.
Fast charging, reliable device. It charges energizer batteries in half the time compared to the energizer charger. When the batteries are fully charged, the light indicator turns off and you can remove the ones that are charged individually.
Excellent charger that does what it says. Also convenient that it can charge 8 batteries simultaneously. Get it.
I would like it to display, like another charger of the same brand with different colors, how much each battery is charged.
On the contrary, here all the LEDs are green regardless of the charging level and they turn off when the batteries are fully charged.
It charges quickly and with the lights it has, you can see when a battery is ready. The only downside is that the device gets very hot, so for this reason, when I charge it, I place the device on a tile. I wouldn't leave it on a wooden surface for so many hours. As for the performance, it is fast and efficient.
Just what you need for charging AAA or AA envelopes. It charges up to 8 batteries simultaneously. I haven't tried it with other batteries as I always prefer eneloop.
Very good charger.
It does not have overheating issues, no matter if it's from a battery or fully charged. The only thing that happens is that it gets warm, it's not hot in the hand, it just gets warm enough for my cat to find it comfortable and go to sleep on it. It also doesn't make any noise while charging, some tend to make a piercing "eeee" sound, but not this one. The charging speed is at most five and a half hours with eight empty batteries, it stops charging at the end but even if one battery charges faster, it won't stop for all of them, only for the one that has finished charging.
Also, it has no problem charging mixed types. Meaning, you can put one AAA and three AA in the four slots, and two AA and two AAA in the other four, and it will charge them normally.
Overall, since I started using Eneloop batteries, I stopped buying regular ones, I saved money and I'm also doing something for the environment.
I tried to charge batteries of another brand and it doesn't charge them. While the old one, which is also a joke charger, charges them just fine. It's a shame and it's very expensive. I expected more reliability.
