    By far one of the best dark romance books out there! For the first time in my life, I read a book so quickly within 24 hours. I adored it, I loved it, I identified with the protagonist, it is an epic! I recommend starting with Punk 57 and later with the Devil’s Night series, as some characters appear in Punk 57 that you will meet later in Devil’s Night if you decide to continue reading this particular author. (Which, by the way, you should do!)

    It was nice, I have to say, although for some reason I cried at a time when it wasn't something to cry about. I personally think it has a nice meaning, I would read it again if I felt nostalgic, but not in translation. It was a bit shocking when it was announced that it would be translated because then the series Devil's Night would be next. If anyone from Elxis Publishing sees this, please translate more books by Penelope Douglas.

Thinking I was a girl because they call me Misa, they assigned me to correspond with Ryan, who they assumed was a boy because of his name. We clicked incredibly and soon began to argue about everything: Which is the best pizzeria, whether Androids are better than iPhones, whether Eminem is the greatest rapper of all time.

For the next 7 years, we existed as Us. Her letters were always on black paper with a silver border. Sometimes one would come a week, other times three a day. I need them. She is the only one who understands me, calms me, and accepts everything I am. There were only three rules: We would not exchange social media, phone numbers, or photos. We had created something unique, why destroy it?

Until I happened to stumble upon a photo online of a girl named Ryan, who loves Gallo pizza and is crazy about her iPhone. What are the odds that this is just a coincidence? Damn it, I have to meet her. And I hope she doesn’t hate me for it.

Ryan: He hasn't written to me in three months. Something is happening. Did he die? Was he arrested? With Misa, anything is possible. But without his letters, I'm starting to go crazy. I have no one to communicate with. It's my fault. I should have somehow found his number or a photo of him. Now he might be lost forever. I could walk past him on the street and never know it.
