Reliable company, this particular one has turned out very good. It is value for money for the GB it offers. As for the downsides, it is relatively slow. Which doesn't bother me much since I save and retrieve data securely and confidently.

Very slow, does not adapt to USB 3.1 and USB 3 at all. Cheap but a waste of money. It has moments of lag during copying. Bad, very bad. I returned the first one thinking it was defective but in vain... the second one did the same.

Unacceptable!!!!!! It took over 4 minutes to transfer a 1.7 GB file from my computer to a USB 3 port! At the same time, I tried transferring the exact same file to a very old USB 2 stick I have, and it took exactly 3 minutes! The same test on another USB 3 stick I have took only 1.5 minutes! This "Datatraveler G4" that I bought today is supposed to be USB 3, but it's not even USB 2!

Δοκίμασα την ίδια στιγμή στην ίδια θύρα να μεταφέρω το ίδιο ακριβώς αρχείο σε ένα πολύ παλιό στικάκι USB 2 που έχω και έκανε 3 λεπτά ακριβώς! Την ίδια δοκιμή σε άλλο στικάκι USB 3 που έχω έκανε μόλις 1,5 λεπτό! Αυτό το "Datatraveler G4" που πήρα σήμερα υποτίθεται USB 3, ούτε καν USB 2 δεν είναι!
This is good value for money, I don't understand it. If something doesn't work properly and is not reliable, it's a waste. Now we struggle to find something of quality that works as it should. It's a shame because I used to buy Kingston without hesitation.

The main problem, apart from the slow speeds, is the Write Protect issue. I have tried two flash drives together, without having used them more than 4-5 times. I have tried using the company's repair program, as well as other professional programs like diskpart, but nothing works. Personally, I will not buy them again. As for the Write Protect issue, for USB 3.0 (maybe even 2.0-3.1), download the file <Restore_v3.23> and perform a restore, not a format, first restore... You will save several flash drives. (Save the files first in the ones that can be saved.)
Βασικότερο πρόβλημα και απο τις χαμηλές ταχύτητες είναι το Write Protect (προστασία εγγραφής), δύο φλασάκια μαζί χωρίς να έχουν δουλέψει πάνω απο 4-5 φορές , προσπάθησα και με το επισκευαστικό προγραμματάκι της εταιρίας και με άλλα επαγγελματικού τύπου και με diskpart, αλλά τίποτα . Εγώ πάντως δεν τα ξανα αγοράζω .!!

I have had it for a year, I bought it for around €6 and the use I make of it is average. Initially, I wanted it to format my computer and since then I use it for file transfer or music playback in the car. I don't consider it worth using for backup.
It is the classic DataTraveler design from Kingston and it is usb3.0 but also supports usb2.0. Its speed is satisfactory, but I would expect more for usb3.0. It seems to be a quality construction, but it has never fallen for me to speak about its durability, although I don't expect much. It should be noted that it came with a 5-year warranty, so I feel a relative security in this aspect!
It has never disappointed me and it is clearly value for money. I have been satisfied, but it is not the amazing product that would deserve 5 stars. If someone wants a flash drive for occasional use or to have it on their keys and not for anything heavy, at the price that it can be found today, around €5, I believe it is worth it.
Το έχω ένα χρόνο, το είχα αγοράσει γύρω στα 6€ και η χρήση που του κάνω είναι μέτρια. Αρχικά το ήθελα για να κάνω format στον υπολογιστή και εκ τότε το χρησιμοποιώ για μεταφορά αρχείων ή για αναπαραγωγή μουσικής στο αμάξι. Δε θεωρώ ότι αξίζει να χρησιμοποιηθεί για backup.
Είναι το κλασικό DataTraveler design της Kingston και είναι usb3.0 αλλά υποστηρίζει και usb2.0. Η ταχύτητά του είναι ικανοποιητική, αλλά θα περίμενα περισσότερα για usb3.0. Φαίνεται να είναι ποιοτική κατασκευή, αλλά δε μου έχει πέσει ποτέ για να μιλήσω για την ανθεκτικότητα του, αν και δεν περιμένω και πολλά. Να σημειωθεί ότι ήρθε με εγγύηση 5 ετών, όποτε νιώθω μια σχετική ασφάλεια στο κομμάτι αυτό!
Δε με έχει απογοητεύσει ποτέ και είναι ξεκάθαρα value for money. Έχω μείνει ικανοποιημένος, αλλά δεν είναι το τρομερό προϊόν που θα του έβαζες 5 αστέρια. Αν κάποιος θέλει ένα στικάκι για περιστασιακή χρήση ή για να το έχει στα κλειδιά του και όχι για τίποτα βαρύ, στην τιμή που το βρίσκει κανείς σήμερα, γύρω στα 5€, πιστεύω αξίζει.
I have had it since 2018 for 11 euros, the 16GB version. I chose it from a well-known chain of stores without checking the specs and reviews, but I relied on the company and its beautiful design (which may not appeal to others). So, here's what we have:
-> It supports USB 2.0 even though it is USB 3.0.
-> If you format it to fat32, it is supported by all operating systems and devices, but you cannot transfer files larger than 4GB. I formatted it to NTFS because I only use it on Windows PCs for large files.
In terms of speed, it is simply unacceptable for the standards of our century. It is a shame for Kingston to release a USB with such low write speed. There is no difference between a USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 port, but it has satisfactory read speed. So, I use it for a bootable Windows 10 flash drive since I am a computer technician, and it only reads well. However, when it comes to writing, especially for small and numerous files, it takes forever (as the saying goes).

-> I am evaluating it now, as I haven't used it intensively. I will re-evaluate it after some time to see how reliable it will remain. But for now, it is performing very well, except for being slow.
Το έχω από το 2018 στα 11Ε το 16GB. Το επέλεξα από γνωστή αλυσίδα καταστημάτων χωρίς να δω specs και reviews αλλά βασίστηκα στην εταιρεία και στο όμορφο design του (σχετικό είναι σε άλλους μπορεί να μην αρέσει). Λοιπόν έχουμε:
-> Υποστηρίζει USB 2.0 και ας είναι USB 3.0
-> Αν το κάνετε φορματ σε fat32 υποστηρίζεται από όλα τα λειτουργικά και τις συσκευές, αλλά δεν μπορείτε να περάσετε αρχεία πάνω από 4gb, εγώ το διαμόρφωσα σε NTFS γιατί το χρησιμοποιώ μόνο σε Η/Υ με Windows για μεγάλα αρχεία.
Από ταχύτητες απλά απαράδεκτο για τα δεδομένα του αιώνα μας είναι ντροπή της Kingston να κυκλοφορεί ένα USB με τόσο χαμηλό Write speed δεν υπάρχει διαφορά σε θύρα USB 2.0 και USB 3.0 αλλά έχει ικανοποιητικό Read speed οπότε το χρησιμοποιώ για bootable Windows 10 φλασάκι μιας και είμαι τεχνικός Η/Υ και για το μόνο που κάνει είναι να διαβάζει καλά αλλά για να γράψεις σε αυτό ειδικά μικρά και πολλά αρχεία κάνει 100 χρόνια (που λέει ο λόγος)
-> Ωραίο design.
-> Το αξιολογώ τώρα δεν το έχω δουλέψει εντατικά, θα το ξανα-αξιολογήσω μετά από καιρό για να δω πόσο αξιόπιστο θα παραμείνει, αλλά προς το παρόν τα πηγαίνει πολύ καλά μόνο που είναι αργό.
If I remember correctly, after 6 months it works like a USB 2.0 in terms of speed. In 1.5 years, it stopped working and doesn't even read it. I bought it for €4 instead of €7
Αν θυμαμαι καλα στους 6 μηνες δουλευει σαν Usb2.0 απο αποψη ταχυτητας. Στον 1.5 χρονο κλαταρε και δεν το διαβαζει καν. Το πηρα 4€ απο 7€
I have it for two years, bought for 15 euros, without much use. I'm looking for something more quality. I tried to delete a program (Solidworks@2GB) on a new PC and it froze. I used the Low Level Format Tool ver.4.40 on it and it overheated. I do not recommend it!

It's fine. I don't have an opinion on the speed. What I stored didn't take so long that I would say something negative. The construction is fine and the plastic is of good quality. No need for scans from Windows or anything. Compared to Verbatim flash drives that always have issues and require constant repairs from Windows, I am very satisfied.
Μια χαρα ειναι. Δεν εχω αποψη για την ταχυτητα. Οτι αποθηκευσα δεν αργησε τοσο ωστε να πω κατι αρνητικο. Και η κατασκευη μια χαρα ειναι και το πλαστικο ποιοτικο. Ουτε σαρωσεις χρειαστηκε απο τα windows ουτε τιποτα. Σε συγκριση με στικακια της verbatim που βγαζουν ολο προβλημα και αναγκαζονται τα windows να κανουν συνεχως επιδιορθωσεις, ειμαι πολυ ευχαριστημενη.

As a positive, I have to say that it works and of course it will satisfy you when it comes to transferring small files (few songs, photos, tasks, etc.). When I needed to transfer a large volume, I simply couldn't believe that I would go back in time to see speeds below 5mb/sec. The fact that it is large and does not have an LED to indicate that it is functioning are true, but they are not a problem for me. At these speeds, I would not consider it cheap since USB 2.0 flash drives are faster at the same price. I have had it for a few months, so I do not know its durability.

In a USB 3.0 port, the copying speed from the computer to this specific USB stick starts at 30mb/s for a few seconds, but then stabilizes at a maximum of 8.5mb/s. This fact means that it is quite a slow flash drive considering it is of type 3.0 and 4th generation (4G). After all, even USB 2.0 flash drives often reach speeds of 15 - 20 MB/s.

Very fast USB 3.0 transfer. Compatible with USB 2.0 as well. I have copied all my music (mp3) onto it and use it in my car's audio system, having all my songs with me. I consider it ideal for this use due to its capacity and reliability. It hasn't caused me any problems for the past 5 months. It has a removable cap and a 5-year warranty.

I have had it for a year, I bought it for around €6 and the use I make of it is average. Initially, I wanted it to format my computer and since then I use it for file transfer or music playback in the car. I don't consider it worth using for backup.
It is the classic DataTraveler design from Kingston and it is usb3.0 but also supports usb2.0. Its speed is satisfactory, but I would expect more for usb3.0. It seems to be a quality construction, but it has never fallen for me to speak about its durability, although I don't expect much. It should be noted that it came with a 5-year warranty, so I feel a relative security in this aspect!
It has never disappointed me and it is clearly value for money. I have been satisfied, but it is not the amazing product that would deserve 5 stars. If someone wants a flash drive for occasional use or to have it on their keys and not for anything heavy, at the price that it can be found today, around €5, I believe it is worth it.
Το έχω ένα χρόνο, το είχα αγοράσει γύρω στα 6€ και η χρήση που του κάνω είναι μέτρια. Αρχικά το ήθελα για να κάνω format στον υπολογιστή και εκ τότε το χρησιμοποιώ για μεταφορά αρχείων ή για αναπαραγωγή μουσικής στο αμάξι. Δε θεωρώ ότι αξίζει να χρησιμοποιηθεί για backup.
Είναι το κλασικό DataTraveler design της Kingston και είναι usb3.0 αλλά υποστηρίζει και usb2.0. Η ταχύτητά του είναι ικανοποιητική, αλλά θα περίμενα περισσότερα για usb3.0. Φαίνεται να είναι ποιοτική κατασκευή, αλλά δε μου έχει πέσει ποτέ για να μιλήσω για την ανθεκτικότητα του, αν και δεν περιμένω και πολλά. Να σημειωθεί ότι ήρθε με εγγύηση 5 ετών, όποτε νιώθω μια σχετική ασφάλεια στο κομμάτι αυτό!
Δε με έχει απογοητεύσει ποτέ και είναι ξεκάθαρα value for money. Έχω μείνει ικανοποιημένος, αλλά δεν είναι το τρομερό προϊόν που θα του έβαζες 5 αστέρια. Αν κάποιος θέλει ένα στικάκι για περιστασιακή χρήση ή για να το έχει στα κλειδιά του και όχι για τίποτα βαρύ, στην τιμή που το βρίσκει κανείς σήμερα, γύρω στα 5€, πιστεύω αξίζει.
I have had it since 2018 for 11 euros, the 16GB version. I chose it from a well-known chain of stores without checking the specs and reviews, but I relied on the company and its beautiful design (which may not appeal to others). So, here's what we have:
-> It supports USB 2.0 even though it is USB 3.0.
-> If you format it to fat32, it is supported by all operating systems and devices, but you cannot transfer files larger than 4GB. I formatted it to NTFS because I only use it on Windows PCs for large files.
In terms of speed, it is simply unacceptable for the standards of our century. It is a shame for Kingston to release a USB with such low write speed. There is no difference between a USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 port, but it has satisfactory read speed. So, I use it for a bootable Windows 10 flash drive since I am a computer technician, and it only reads well. However, when it comes to writing, especially for small and numerous files, it takes forever (as the saying goes).

-> I am evaluating it now, as I haven't used it intensively. I will re-evaluate it after some time to see how reliable it will remain. But for now, it is performing very well, except for being slow.
Το έχω από το 2018 στα 11Ε το 16GB. Το επέλεξα από γνωστή αλυσίδα καταστημάτων χωρίς να δω specs και reviews αλλά βασίστηκα στην εταιρεία και στο όμορφο design του (σχετικό είναι σε άλλους μπορεί να μην αρέσει). Λοιπόν έχουμε:
-> Υποστηρίζει USB 2.0 και ας είναι USB 3.0
-> Αν το κάνετε φορματ σε fat32 υποστηρίζεται από όλα τα λειτουργικά και τις συσκευές, αλλά δεν μπορείτε να περάσετε αρχεία πάνω από 4gb, εγώ το διαμόρφωσα σε NTFS γιατί το χρησιμοποιώ μόνο σε Η/Υ με Windows για μεγάλα αρχεία.
Από ταχύτητες απλά απαράδεκτο για τα δεδομένα του αιώνα μας είναι ντροπή της Kingston να κυκλοφορεί ένα USB με τόσο χαμηλό Write speed δεν υπάρχει διαφορά σε θύρα USB 2.0 και USB 3.0 αλλά έχει ικανοποιητικό Read speed οπότε το χρησιμοποιώ για bootable Windows 10 φλασάκι μιας και είμαι τεχνικός Η/Υ και για το μόνο που κάνει είναι να διαβάζει καλά αλλά για να γράψεις σε αυτό ειδικά μικρά και πολλά αρχεία κάνει 100 χρόνια (που λέει ο λόγος)
-> Ωραίο design.
-> Το αξιολογώ τώρα δεν το έχω δουλέψει εντατικά, θα το ξανα-αξιολογήσω μετά από καιρό για να δω πόσο αξιόπιστο θα παραμείνει, αλλά προς το παρόν τα πηγαίνει πολύ καλά μόνο που είναι αργό.
If I remember correctly, after 6 months it works like a USB 2.0 in terms of speed. In 1.5 years, it stopped working and doesn't even read it. I bought it for €4 instead of €7
Αν θυμαμαι καλα στους 6 μηνες δουλευει σαν Usb2.0 απο αποψη ταχυτητας. Στον 1.5 χρονο κλαταρε και δεν το διαβαζει καν. Το πηρα 4€ απο 7€
I have it for two years, bought for 15 euros, without much use. I'm looking for something more quality. I tried to delete a program (Solidworks@2GB) on a new PC and it froze. I used the Low Level Format Tool ver.4.40 on it and it overheated. I do not recommend it!
Το έχω δυο χρόνια, αγορά 15ε, χωρίς ιδιαίτερη χρήση. Ψάχνω για κάτι πιο ποιοτικό. Πήγα να διαγράψω ένα πρόγραμμα (Solidworks@2GB) σε καινούργιο Η/Υ και κόλλησε. Του έκανα Low Level Format Tool ver.4.40 και θερμάνθηκε. Δεν το συστήνω !
It's fine. I don't have an opinion on the speed. What I stored didn't take so long that I would say something negative. The construction is fine and the plastic is of good quality. No need for scans from Windows or anything. Compared to Verbatim flash drives that always have issues and require constant repairs from Windows, I am very satisfied.
Μια χαρα ειναι. Δεν εχω αποψη για την ταχυτητα. Οτι αποθηκευσα δεν αργησε τοσο ωστε να πω κατι αρνητικο. Και η κατασκευη μια χαρα ειναι και το πλαστικο ποιοτικο. Ουτε σαρωσεις χρειαστηκε απο τα windows ουτε τιποτα. Σε συγκριση με στικακια της verbatim που βγαζουν ολο προβλημα και αναγκαζονται τα windows να κανουν συνεχως επιδιορθωσεις, ειμαι πολυ ευχαριστημενη.

As a positive, I have to say that it works and of course it will satisfy you when it comes to transferring small files (few songs, photos, tasks, etc.). When I needed to transfer a large volume, I simply couldn't believe that I would go back in time to see speeds below 5mb/sec. The fact that it is large and does not have an LED to indicate that it is functioning are true, but they are not a problem for me. At these speeds, I would not consider it cheap since USB 2.0 flash drives are faster at the same price. I have had it for a few months, so I do not know its durability.
Σαν θετικό έχω να πω ότι δουλεύει και εννοείται θα σε ικανοποιήσει όταν πρόκειται να μεταφέρεις μικρά αρχεία(λίγα τραγούδια,φωτο,εργασίες κλπ).Όταν χρειάστηκε να μεταφέρω μεγάλο όγκο απλά δεν πίστευα ότι θα γυρνούσα πίσω στον χρόνο για να δω ταχύτητα κάτω από 5mb/sec.Το ότι είναι μεγάλο και ότι δεν έχει led για να καταλάβεις ότι λειτουργεί ισχύουν αλλά δεν αποτελούν πρόβλημα για μένα.Σε αυτές τις ταχύτητες δεν θα το χαρακτήριζα φθηνό αφού στην ίδια τιμή usb2.0 φλασάκια είναι γρηγορότερα.Το έχω λίγους μήνες οπότε την αντοχή του δεν την ξέρω.
I have had it for almost 4 years and it works perfectly, despite having been violently thrown against a door. It is not particularly fast, but it is very reliable.
Το έχω σχεδόν 4 χρόνια και λειτουργεί άψογα, παρόλο που έχει υποστεί βίαιη ρίψη σε πόρτα. Δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα γρήγορο, είναι όμως πολύ αξιόπιστο.
It is relatively slow even on USB 3. It is bulky in size and it is difficult to fit another flash drive in the adjacent port. It is not particularly stylish and it does not have any LED to indicate that it is functioning. It stopped working after 1 year of moderate use.
Είναι σχετικά αργό ακόμη και σε USB 3. Είναι φαρδύ σε μέγεθος και με δυσκολία χωράει άλλο φλασάκι στη διπλανή θύρα. Δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα κομψό και δεν έχει κάποιο led για να καταλαβαίνεις ότι λειτουργεί. Σταμάτησε να λειτουργεί μετά 1 χρόνο μέτριας χρήσης.
In a USB 3.0 port, the copying speed from the computer to this specific USB stick starts at 30mb/s for a few seconds, but then stabilizes at a maximum of 8.5mb/s. This fact means that it is quite a slow flash drive considering it is of type 3.0 and 4th generation (4G). After all, even USB 2.0 flash drives often reach speeds of 15 - 20 MB/s.
Σε θύρα usb 3.0 η ταχύτητα αντιγραφής από τον υπολογιστή στο συγκεκριμένο usb stick ενώ ξεκινάει με 30mb/s για ελάχιστα δευτερόλεπτα, σταθεροποιείται μόλις στα 8,5mb/s το πολύ.
Γεγονός που σημαίνει πως πρόκειται για αρκετά αργό φλασάκι αν αναλογιστεί κανείς πως είναι τύπου 3.0 και 4ης γενιάς (4G).Άλλωστε, ακόμη και τα φλασάκια τύπου 2.0 αρκετές φορές φτάνουν τα 15 - 20 MB/s.
Very fast USB 3.0 transfer. Compatible with USB 2.0 as well. I have copied all my music (mp3) onto it and use it in my car's audio system, having all my songs with me. I consider it ideal for this use due to its capacity and reliability. It hasn't caused me any problems for the past 5 months. It has a removable cap and a 5-year warranty.
Ταχύτατη USB 3.0 αντιγραφή. Συμβατό και με USB 2.0. Έχω αντιγράψει όλη μου τη μουσική (mp3) σε αυτό και το χρησιμοποιώ στο audio system του αυτοκινήτου, έχοντας έτσι όλα μου τα τραγούδια μαζί μου. Το θεωρώ ιδανικό για τέτοια χρήση λόγω της χωρητικότητας του αλλά και της αξιοπιστίας του. Δεν μου έχει δημιουργήσει κανένα πρόβλημα εδώ και 5 μήνες. Έχει καπάκι που αφαιρείται και 5ετή εγγύηση.
Reliable company, this particular one has turned out very good. It is value for money for the GB it offers. As for the downsides, it is relatively slow. Which doesn't bother me much since I save and retrieve data securely and confidently.
Αξιόπιστη εταιρεία, το συγκεκριμένο έχει βγει πολύ καλό. Είναι value for money για τα GB που προσφέρει. Στα μειονεκτήματα ότι είναι σχετικά αργό. Το οποίο δεν με πολυαπασχολεί εφόσον σώζω και ανακαλώ δεδομένα με ασφάλεια και σιγουριά.
Very slow, does not adapt to USB 3.1 and USB 3 at all. Cheap but a waste of money. It has moments of lag during copying. Bad, very bad. I returned the first one thinking it was defective but in vain... the second one did the same.
Πολύ αργό, σε καμία περίπτωση δεν προσαρμόζεται σε usb 3.1 και usb 3. Φθηνό αλλά τσάμπα λεφτά. Κατά την αντιγραφή έχει στιγμές αδράνειας. Κακό, πολύ κακό. Το πρώτο το επέστρεψα πιστεύοντας ότι είναι ελαττωματικό αλλά μάταια...το δεύτερο έκανε τα ίδια.
Unacceptable!!!!!! It took over 4 minutes to transfer a 1.7 GB file from my computer to a USB 3 port! At the same time, I tried transferring the exact same file to a very old USB 2 stick I have, and it took exactly 3 minutes! The same test on another USB 3 stick I have took only 1.5 minutes! This "Datatraveler G4" that I bought today is supposed to be USB 3, but it's not even USB 2!
Απαράδεκτο!!!!!! Για να μεταφέρω από τον υπολογιστή μου σε θύρα USB 3 ένα αρχείο 1,7 GB έκανε πάνω από 4 λεπτά! Δοκίμασα την ίδια στιγμή στην ίδια θύρα να μεταφέρω το ίδιο ακριβώς αρχείο σε ένα πολύ παλιό στικάκι USB 2 που έχω και έκανε 3 λεπτά ακριβώς! Την ίδια δοκιμή σε άλλο στικάκι USB 3 που έχω έκανε μόλις 1,5 λεπτό! Αυτό το "Datatraveler G4" που πήρα σήμερα υποτίθεται USB 3, ούτε καν USB 2 δεν είναι!
