Pip is an ordinary boy. His parents have died, he lives with his sister, who is dreadful and terrible, and he encounters a criminal who has just escaped from prison. His life changes from one moment to the next when a mysterious benefactor decides to take him under their wing. Pip leaves the village and goes to London, where his days roll on in luxury. But what will happen when he learns who is paying the bills and what they want in return?
