It is extracted from the kernels of the fruit of the Sclerocarya birrea tree, a deciduous tree from Southern Africa and Madagascar. Organic Marula oil is white-yellow and almost odorless. It contains 4 times more vitamin C than an orange, is rich in vitamin E and oleic acid.

It has a very high ratio of oleic acid and a balanced ratio of palmitic and stearic acid. Organic Marula oil provides protection from free radicals and prevents premature aging of the skin, making it smooth and elastic.
